The Village Inn is located in the historic Ferry Village in Grand Island, New York. Its quaint, homelike atmosphere and close proximity to the Niagara River make this restaurant a popular meeting place for locals, as well as for those visiting off island.

We just left the village inn for dinner 8/8. Our waitress I think was Ava couldn’t really tell, but that was tge name on the receipt. She took our order and NEVER CAME BACK TO SEE HOW EVERYTHING WAS. She was very attentive to the table next to us. But I guess we were Invisible to her. We asked for a take out container and the bill…Yeah she never brought that either. There was a very friendly young lady who got our drinks.. and ended up getting us our bill and container. Not sure of her name.. we always reward good service with a high tip..tonight was the exception .. we will not be returning.

I used to work there over the summer of 2022 and a few people other than myself were treated disrespectfully while working there. Although I had only worked two shifts, the owner had never taken time to listen to me or put me into the system. He also never took my information when I tried to give him my working papers since at the time, I was not 18 yet. He didn’t answer any of my text messages following that either. And to top it all off, he never paid me for the 14 to 16 hours that I had worked there. I tried to get into contact with him since then, but he has yet to answer me. Long story short, he has done this to myself and many other people that I have met and I would recommend that people that visit this place frequently realize the kind of person the owner is and the atmosphere that he was creating while I was being there. Just take into consideration for one moment that behind the kitchen doors, everything isn’t as it seems.

An intimate little venue that is a Grand Island staple with delicious food and fantastic service. Their fish fry is spectacular and it’s easy to see why it was voted the best of 716. Great beer selection and the side dishes are on point as well. The food was also brought out fairly quickly and the staff treats you like you’re family while you’re here. I came here growing up and almost 20 years later, it’s still just as great as I remember.

Amazing food! Lots of homemade deliciousness. Theres always at least 5 different to die for homemade soups of all varieties and a large menu with lots of choices. The pastas are my favorite! Their daily specials go above and beyond expectations. Save room for dessert theres a crazy amount of homemade dessert options as well! Awesome service and amazing food highly recommend!

Played golf at Beaver Island with a couple local guys , Mike and Dave. We are from FL and don’t know the area so we asked for a recommendation for food. They told us you couldn’t go wrong with Village Inn. They we right this was a great place. The burgers were the best I have had, they had some beer on tap and their Key Lime Pie was delicious. If you find yourself in the area of Buffalo or Niagara you need to stop.

The staff was welcoming and friendly, speedy service and wonderful food. We had the French onion soup, seafood croissant and fish fry. It was so nice to have so many choices for sides for the fish fry and one is potato pancakes which were awesome! All were great portions and wonderful tasting!
