Very expensive and awful food. We had dinner here during our stay at The View Hotel. The restaurant has a great view of Monument Valley, but that is the only plus. Our server was kind, but very confused and clumsy. The food very expensive at $23 for a portion of chili (which was more of a flavorless watery ground beef soup than chili) and $20 for a grilled chicken sandwich (which was a chicken patty on a sesame seed cold bun, once slice of tomato and onions with some French fries). My wife could not bear through her chili, so we ordered the chicken sandwich which was slightly less objectionable. Our bill came to $72 for two bowls of chili and one chicken sandwich. i would recommend bringing your own food (any lunch meat and bread would be better than anything this place on their menu and for a fraction of the cost). Don’t waste your money here. We are sorry we did, but never again.

The actual view from the restaurant is already spectacular. Given that there are essentially no decent restaurants around The View hotel, I am certain that this restaurant can make an excellent profit if they put more effort and investment in upgrading the decor of the restaurant and revamping the menu. This might not be possible, but having a liquor license to offer adults alcoholic beverages would definitely increase sales. Right now, they offer overpriced below-basic dishes in a cafeteria like environment. Servers are nice though.

Not too many dining options in the area. Since we stayed at the hotel, we took advantage of the free morning breakfast. It’s a very basic continental breakfast. Some of us brought our own packaged tuna, mustard/ Mayo to make egg salad, and our own coffee packets. The coffee served is very watery and the hot water dispenser spits out a lot of coffee grinds.

Unless you want to drive from the hotel this the ONLY place to get something to eat. We went after a sunset tour of Monument Valley. The service was horrible, the food expensive. No alcohol is served!!!

Nothing fancy you should expect from this restaurant, but at the same time no better view you can have. The food menu is very simple and costs are high, but for a good reason. This place is far from any major city. However I wish they had some Navajo options. We just had our dinners here and we went somewhere else for lunch. Breakfast is simple but serves the purpose.

If you do not know what to order, just go with POZOLE! I ordered it for lunch, they were freshly made with a lot of corns and ground pork. POZOLE was the only thing tasted good for our orders.

The Navajo Taco with chips, salsa, and guacamole was amazing. Breakfast in the morning was sub par.

It is the view and the reason that there is no other restaurant nearby.

We ate here for breakfast & dinner during our 3 night stay at the View Cabins. Price is high for what you get, but we expected this given the remote location. Had the hamburger and chicken tenders; both tasted perfectly fine. Breakfast has a decent selection with eggs every day, oatmeal, a variety of cereal, and tiny pancakes that were surprisingly good.
