I love lasagna. I love most vegan food. This vegan lasagna just didn’t cut it, I’d give it a C and that’s generous. Honestly, lasagna revolves around how good the cheese is, the fact their lasagna doesn’t have vegan ricotta is really disappointing. Hopefully they can make another variation with ricotta and I’ll give it another try.

I was excited to try a new vegan meal, since vegan Italian restaurants aren’t easy to find outside of Italy right now. I got the truffle mushroom lasagna, which was quite delicious. I knocked off a star from my rating though because, even though my receipt said I would receive a text message “shortly” with a status update on my order, that text message never arrived. I showed up out of curiosity to see whether my order might already be ready, an hour after I placed it, and sure enough it was ready but only lukewarm instead of hot, indicating that it was finished fairly quickly, and the person who handed it to me did not even apologize for the lack of communication. This place is a so-called “ghost kitchen” and for my first impression the customer experience was severely lacking. If you say you’re going to text with updates, that absolutely needs to happen especially when there’s no phone number to call. I might try ordering from here one more time but if a similar situation occurs it may be my last order.

I really wanted to like this, but this is only take out food which is just heated in the microwave before you pick up. For the price of $20, it is too much. I can get freshly made vegan food at a lot of places for much less than this.

The place is a hidden gem ! What a find ! I tried the bolognaise and the mushroom truffle and it blew my mind ! I will definitely recommend this for all the vegan lovers !
