I had lunch with my mom here and we both ordered the Asian salad with chicken. It was fresh and delicious and the restaurant looked new and very clean. We will definitely be back!

I got their signature burger and the mixed green salad. Came out fast and the burger tasted great, also awesome fries. The salad was really great as well with a nice touch with goat cheese, maybe pumpkin seeds? Lol grapes and a nice lemon vinaigrette. Great quality and taste priced very well! Would absolutely recommend especially if your in the area!

If you want the best burger in the area you go to the Union because wow. Speechless. Try it, it’ll speak for its self. I got it delivered and it was still banging. Perfect medium rare

Family group of 10 really enjoyed this casual, counter-service restaurant. Food is unexpectedly high quality for a restaurant of this type, and certainly comparable to table-service restaurants. Service at this location was friendly and helpful. Food also came to the table quicker than expected. Overall would recommend for someone looking for quick, quality food!

The Union is one of Ballston’s hidden gems. I go regularly, and everything I’ve had is fantastic. Lamb chops, burgers, steak, French fries, ice cream, everything. The lambchops in particular are on par with Morton’s, Elbit’s, or any other DC staple without the once-a-year price tag.

Heard about this place through the grapevine. Was in the area and decided to try the Union burger. Burger was fresh, packed with grilled flavor and a nicely toasted bun to top it off. Will definitely be back just for the burger alone.

We stopped in for lunch and had the Mumbai panini, Chicken pibil sandwich and roasted Brussels sprouts. Everything was great and high quality. The food is a nice change from a lot of “fast casual” places. Friendly owners and nice inside seating area. They told us they will be getting their ABC license very soon.

I’ve given this establishment two chances and both instances were disappointing and unsatisfying. The first time I walked in the manager was unfriendly towards me as he took my order and the wait for my take out order was filled with awkward silence. The second time, it appeared the restaurant may have been closed (which is not uncommon considering the time of day and location) and upon me asking about it, the manager waved his arms in attempt to make me feel stupid and gave an attitude as I ordered placed a take out order. I requested a beer as I waited and was refused despite me having wine in hand while I was there. Furthermore, I just didn’t feel the food was worth the price charged when you consider the quality and quantity served.

I’ve tried the burgers at 5-6 different places around Arlington. The Union Burger is easily the best, by a significant margin. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, and perfectly dressed every time.
