Finally discovered this place after a year in Annapolis. Guys behind the counter were super helpful and friendly. Signature burgers were phenomenal. Can’t wait to go back and try more from The Ugly Pig

A great place just outside of Annapolis. The owners are very knowledgeable of their food and practice. Roast pork sandwich was very juicy. Cured meats were incredible. I took home some of their peanut butter after trying a sample. As a bonus for dog lovers, Bailey likes to greet customers 🙂

Got the Ham sandwich and Potato salad, both tasted unique with the pickled onions and 20 day cured ham. Interesting spot, guy was pretty cool too.

Fantastic butcher shop that can get you some of the more specialty cuts that are very difficult to find anywhere else. Meat is always fresh and delicious.

Been meaning to go to this place for a long time; finally did. Most of the sandwiches were sold out but lucky for me the chicken salad sandwich was available – it was excellent. The roll it came on was exceptionally good. This place sources their meat locally and it seems everything is made in house and therefore worth the price, which really isn’t that expensive considering what “fast food” from a chain goes for. The owner was friendly and very knowledgeable. I’ll definitely be back.

We stopped by for the first time and got a chicken salad sandwich to split. Wow, it was delicious. They have a special Mayo spread that is so good. I then went in to get a roast beef sandwich and that was exceptional too. I also got potato salad and loved that; there was no Mayo and it wasn’t Sweet; I don’t like sweet salad. I tried the kielbasa and will be going back today to get more. And, omg, the maple peanut butter is incredible. I wish I had found this place sooner.

Best sandwich you’ll ever eat. True old fashioned butchery with great attention to detail and the finest, fresh, local ingredients. The owner is friendly and very knowledgeable in the science of good food! (The parking lot is absolutely wonderful despite what you may read from some of the other long-winded curmudgeonly commenters.)

This place is a gem. The owner used to be a researchers at the Smithsonian. He used his skills and master’s degree to find and improve upon the best techniques in the world to create a top tier product. He’s a brilliant artisan and his products are unmatched. There aren’t that many options, but the options that are there are the food equivalent to soma – the nectar of the gods. In layman’s terms every bite fills you with a palpable amount of pleasure, I hope I don’t have a hangover from how high I get eating his peanut butter and steak.
