We went to this establishment to celebrate a birthday. I did not much feel like celebrating after I ate some of the food. I got the lunch buffet. The lettuce in the salad bar looked to be three days old. It was turning brown but I did manage to get a few pieces that were edible. The ranch salad dressing was very runny, like water. I told our waiter about this and he responded saying that there were other dressings up there if I wanted to try them and that their dressing is made fresh everyday. Forget the recipe? So I said okay , thank you. What I should have said is I realize that but I don’t like the other flavors and by the way they were runny also. They didn’t have much pizza on the buffet and there was at least five other people eating from the buffet. Maybe not enough cooks in the kitchen? To be fair , I have eaten at this restaurant before and it was good. I still won’t go back. I don’t like to be treated like I’m stupid. I have also worked in food service before and I know what salad dressing is supposed to look like.

The food is amazing. Everything we ordered was hot and fresh. However, the waitress was not friendly and very forgetful. We asked for extra napkins, 2 times, never received them, asked for to go boxes 2 times. The waitress when asked what she recommended told us what she just ate and was bloated, interesting. Would highly recommend the establishment based on the food quality.

This is one of the nicest, well managed, & maintained restaurants we have in town. The food is delicious. The prices are a little high but that’s just the cost of eating out at a decent restaurant these days, it’s definitely worth the money & they do give you nice portion sizes. The owner & his wife Jessica are super nice people who take pride in their business from the food, to the staff, to the atmosphere they ensure a great, & consistent experience every time you visit. Thank you guys & keep up the great work!!

I eat here on the regular but I can’t believe the bull that has happened in the past 2 days. I was there celebrating my birthday yesterday. My mother and stepfather both got the buffet. When they came back their food was less than subpar which is not a surprise. I do not get the buffet for the reasons they had expressed. I don’t feel I need to go into detail since you can read their reviews. The response my mom got about the very loose ranch dressing was uncalled for. I may not have a degree in Culinary Arts but I did go to culinary school and did complete a large number of my classes (which I passed with flying colors and was even certified in sanitation and safety). Usually when someone expresses their displeasure to the waitstaff, they are usually suppose to go tell the cooks about what customers are saying. Instead she gets a sparky comment. I always order from the menu because the food is usually always good ESPECIALLY when my spaghetti isn’t swimming in water (like on my birthday) but I digress. It’s also funny how when they receive a bad/low rating they have what I call “trolls” to follow behind and leave 5 star reviews with/without a description just to boost their ratings back up. Word of advice: instead of getting goons to cover up your discrepancies, just work on what’s wrong with the establishment. Accept what is and just do better! So much love though ❤️

would have never imagined a real Italian restaurant here and WoW, what a unexpected treat. Clean, waitress perfect service, food tasty and well done, Would be happy to return if I’m ever out this ways again. My only possible complaint is the price – basically you are going to spend a minimum of $25 a person dor dinner – that’s like 2 hours average pay around here, so I guess they just survive off of passers-thru

Food is ok but every time I order something is not how I ordered it. Probably doesn’t help that it seems teenagers are running the phones. That’s fine but paying that much for a meal you expect it to be right. Third time ordering, third time it’s messed up. I’ll just stick to going to Frank’s up the street I guess.

The place is immaculately kept, the staff were friendly as you’d expect from Altavista. Whoever remodeled the place has great tastes. I ordered the chicken carbonara, it was delicious. They were out of marsala wine, so I couldn’t try the chicken marsala. But that just gives me a reason to go back. Also saw they have a buffet for lunch. Definitely gonna have to go for that as well.
