I’ve never written a review before, but after this experience I felt like I had to. We had reservations for 7pm. The appetizers did not come out until 7:55pm and the entrees, which were just burgers, never came out and we decided to leave at 8:15pm. Not only did the staff not care that we weren’t being served, but they left us sitting there wondering when or if we would get our food. There were only two other tables being “served” and treated as badly as us while the rest of the restaurant was empty. We didn’t even have a chance to complain even if we wanted to because no one was around. The waiters seemed nice enough just poorly trained and inexperienced. The appetizers were cold and overpriced ($52 for 8 wings, 5 spicy tuna over rice and 2 diet cokes) and they didn’t even consider comping us for our wasted time. They said they were able to “take the burgers off the tab” like that was some kind of grand gesture for our terrible experience. I would not recommend Tuck Room to anyone, it is overpriced movie theater food with terrible service. They should at least have the decency to say they share a kitchen with iPic theater so people can avoid being duped into thinking this is an actual restaurant.

Fantastic food and service. They hosted our group of 42 (34 middle school students and 8 adults) and they accommodated dietary and time restrictions. The space is pretty cool, too. I’d definitely return.

I came here for some drinks before my movie showing at the Ipic downstairs from here. I caught the happy hour menu and I have no complaints at all. 2 drinks and an order of truffle fries for only $21 is unheard of. If you’re catching a movie you have to check out The Tuck Room.

Excitement! What a great atmosphere! The service is genuinely friendly. A great place to go before or after a movie. Even if you don’t go to the theater, a happy hour you’d love. The food was good, but I which it is mentioned when there is pork or shellfish in certain good. The honey for the chicken had bacon in it.

Went to eat. I ordered the porkchop. We ate our appetizers and after the table was clear still ended up waiting over 40 minutes for our plates. It wasn’t a busy day.

Visited the Tuck Room this past Sunday when NYC was freezing. The restaurant was warm and cozy and provided a great view of South Street Seaport and Brooklyn Bridge Park across the water. Food & service were excellent. Our waitress was so sweet. I definitely suggest the shrimp tacos and the chocolate bomb for dessert. Its a great place for good grubs in a quiet atmosphere.

Came here Sunday at around 4, the place was empty. The meal was good, and the ambiance of this place is really cool. The service was extremely slow, we ordered nachos and 2 salads and didn’t leave until 6:15pm. It took almost an hour to get our salads.
