Great food, everything was perfectly prepared. Server was knowledgeable and very nice. Lovely country locale and plenty of parking. Food did take a bit, so be aware.

The service was slow. The food was mediocre at best they serve an all-you-can-eat fish fry but only bring the plate to you with two small pieces of fish and then wait 20 minutes for a reorder. My wife had the Southern Fried chicken the meat inside was flavorful and juicy but the breading had a burnt taste and was very dark in color! I believe they might have messed up an burnt one earlier in the night and contaminated their Grease. This place used to be really good haven’t been for a while seeing they had a new menu and a new chef will try it one more time but do not recommended so far.

So far, any meal we have had here is fantastic. The crab cakes and Mahi Mahi tacos are amazing. Service has been sporadic; sometimes it can be a little slow and other times it’s great.

Trout fishing pond is outstanding. Me and my 11 year old son had a blast!

Excellent food. Prices are reasonable, and they have some cheaper specials. The signature trout shore lunch was excellent. You must try the potato pancakes. Trout was delicious and freshly pan fried. Seasonal veggies were clearly freshly cut, and served with fresh dill. Chef came out to check on our table, and the wait staff was attentive. Interior is new and stylish. Loved our Saturday lunch there. Highly recommended.

Not impressed by their store, specifically the smoked trout and smoked salmon spreads. Had tried these spreads previously and they were great, not sure why this batch was so much different but the spicing was off to the point they were borderline inedible. May try again but definitely would not recommend at this time.

We enjoyed it! My husband went trout fishing at one of their many ponds. He caught a nice 1lb 7oz. Rainbow trout. Their chef fileted it perfectly. Not a single bone. My husband ordered it pan fried. I was boring and ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. Our food was very good! Service was great, everyone was very friendly. A great way to spend a beautiful late summer lunch time. This would be a good idea for anyone, especially families.

Fishing was a blast! The Hook & Cook fish fry was really good. I recommend the pan seared trout over the beer battered. Loved the trout artwork in the restaurant too. The manager is helpful, nice & knows his stuff. The entire place is spotless & clean. The cute store to buy specialty foods is pretty cool too.

Mother’s Day brunch was so disappointing. I don’t like giving one star reviews, but the food was just not good. Almost everything I tried was either over-cooked, not well made or not well seasoned. There were no pastries or muffins and just two dessert options, and the one I tried was dry, obviously not homemade and carelessly dumped on a platter. They sat our large party against a wall so people had to climb over each other to get their brunch. The chef kept having problems with the heating elements below the hot food items, and would cut right in front of customers, talking on his cell. There was a sad looking salad and over-cooked pastas and cafeteria eggs. Our waitress was lovely but she was the only nice thing about the experience. It was not worth $350.
