Cute, quaint little place. Was greeted immediately by a nice young man. Service was a little slow, but they could have been busy or short staffed. The crab Benedict was amazing! Prices were right in par with portions. Usually breakfast plates are too much food, but these portions were perfect.

We stopped in for breakfast before our hikes. We had one large meal at The Tides before the day started and that is all we needed. They give you a lot of food! The service was great, friendly, and down to earth. There is a simple diner atmosphere, which was a homey feeling.

Cute little stop on our trip, staff was friendly. Food came out in good time and tasted pretty fresh. A lot of things are scratch made which was nice. Some local artists reprints for sale on the wall which is always fun

Seems like all locals go there. If your not a local the little lady takes her time getting to you. The kid taking drink orders was fast and kept them full. The biscuits and gravy was super weird like they put herbs in the gravy, probably won’t get that again. I had one pancake that was filling enough for a while breakfast. The stuffed hash browns had more toppings than hash browns unfortunately. Probably won’t come back sucks it’s the only place in the area.

Beat place for breakfast in the Shelton area. They serve large portions, they use seasonings , and have great flavors. The place is clean but still dated even after new floors and paint. I still need to try their lunch and dinners.

Excellent clam Chowder (nice n thick, good clams and good size pieces of bacon. The brook hamburger is delicious and the bacon burger was nice and juicy and cooked to perfection. Only downfall was the French fries, they were to done. Good price and excellent waitress.
