The front of the restaurant is not obvious in the outdoor mall. We noticed it only when we happened to park in front of it. The interior is casual but nice. The large space is surrounded by large windows on two sides. The view outside is mostly greenery and even includes a tiny creek. On a sunny day it was beautiful. I had the Roasted Garden salad based on the server’s recommendation. It was very good. We will be going back.

The atmosphere here is great. It’s a great place to watch a game indoors or to bring your dog outdoors. The staff is very friendly. The only complaint was it was a bit slow. My daughter’s Mac and cheese took a long time to come out. I got the popcorn chicken which was super tender. To drink I got the mojito which was a bit too sour for me. My wife got The Troublemaker which she really liked. To eat she got the BLTA which was pretty standard. I really don’t understand all the negative Yelp reviews I saw on this place. Definitely not deserving.

I enjoy checking out local hot spots….especially restaurants. Don’t you? Tonight I just happened to stumble across, The Tavern in Belmont. The food was great, the atmosphere was just as great and table 68 was my table. The only thing that I wasn’t expecting was the way I had to order my food. Tip….bring your phone, a card to pay with and download a QR code app. I will go back. You’ve got to try the fried Brussel sprout appetizer! Delicious!

We went to catch a live band and ordered the lovely charcuterie board. We had to order a little extra bread/ crackers but otherwise a wonderful assortment. It was a fun evening with attentive staff.

This was my first time here and I was pretty disappointed. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Love the creek on the patio and that they are dog friendly. Unfortunately with that comes lots of bees so be careful! It killed the outdoor experience for me. Also, the food was not good at all. I had the adult chicken fingers. They were very bland. My husband has the tri tip special that was chewy and undercooked. I can not recommend this place.

We used to come here all the time before the new ownership. The entire experience used to be absolutely amazing. Now, it’s barely ok. The food is overpriced, poorly prepared, and rarely fresh. The service is hit-and-miss and many of the servers seem to be new and unfamiliar with the industry. Despite the generally amazing ambiance, even the creek that runs through the back area seems poorly maintained and full of trash.

Torn. Second visit, sitting on the patio both times, and love the ambience and dog-friendliness. Absolutely 5 stars. Three things will keep us from returning for a while: 1) ordering is done online, and Toast (the app used) was a little confusing on how to pay. More disappointing was that we had human interaction three times – when a waiter brought water, then our drinks, and then food. It’s a trend I see more often, but I never felt like the restaurant “connected” with us. 2) the food was good but not great. I had the braised short ribs and my wife had a New York steak. Nicely prepared and presented but oddly not a lot of flavor to either. Which wouldn’t have been a real problem except for 3) the prices; $31 for my ribs, $39 for the steak. Those two meals, plus a soda, prosecco, Moscow mule, and a pretzel came to over $100. Add in the “suggested” tip of 20% (for the minimal service already mentioned) and the bill for two people to eat was nearly $140! Note: I left a custom tip that I felt was more appropriate so my final tab was less than that. Bottom line: while I love the atmosphere, we left disappointed in the combo of price, quality, and human interaction, and likely won’t be returning, which is a bummer. :^(

The service and live music was great! The food ….. not so much. When we came here last time, before they changed owners or something, the food was awesome! Now, the fried chicken sandwich is all dry and flavorless, the burger is also dry and tasteless. However, the fresh lemonade is actually really good. Overall don’t recommend this place for the food.
