The hotel had a Dinner option available a few nights during the week. While we were there they were serving buffets and there was no menu otherwise. One night it was Italian and the other American Continental. A little pricey at $24 per person. They had about 10 items for dinner and dessert. Food was average. We would probably go to a restaurant instead next time, just finding open non chain restaurants on certain days of the week in the area can be hard.

The Tap House served top rate delicious food from appetizers to main course. So amazing we had to go back, even with all the various restaurants in town, we couldn’t resist the atmosphere, food and superior bartender server, Shyann who managed the entire restaurant on her own with a huge smile and proficiency. She is Wonder Woman! Greeted, served, mixed drinks, cleared tables all by herself, always smiling and charming personality.

Came here with two of my friends to celebrate a birthday for the weekend. We got in late so we headed down to the tap house for food. I ordered the onion burger medium rare. When our food came out my burger was completely burnt. I kindly asked our waitress who took great care of us if they could maybe remake my meal. She took it back and had the burger remade no problem. Fast forward to 15 minutes later, my friends were ending their meals and I was just getting my second burger. With high hopes and excitement I cut into my burger to have it look exactly the same as the first, well cooked beyond Well. Understanding that things happen but still hungry and not satisfied I asked to speak to the manger who took over 10 minutes to come to our table. She she said was so sorry and had no problems taking care of the burger as well as getting me a meal to go since I still had not eaten. Shortly after our waitress came back and I was happily ready to order another meal to go when she then told me the manager would only comp 50%. It being after 9pm and my friends long finished their meals I asked for our check. I still ended up paying for my beer, which don’t get my wrong I have no issue with paying for things I consumed, however having sent back the same meal twice, having a horrible experience, and personally being a waitress for over 5 years I was appalled at what the manager had to offer. We were only 1 of 3 tables at the time so there really was no excuse as to why the food and mangers service was so poor. Very unimpressed and unsatisfied.

Great job, Tap House. Chicken Piccata was the best ever. The portobello burger beyond compare. Pulled pork sandwich awesome too. We are working our way through the entire menu this Christmas week with the new chef. The atmosphere and decor is stellar. Again, really well done.

Went in for dinner last weekend and noticed a complete 360 from my former years visiting the summit. The food and service was delightful. What stuck out the most was the manager who kindly asked how mine and my wife’s dinner was and gave us a brief history of the place. Her name was Ciara lovely girl. Will definitely start eating there on our visits again.
