BEST BREAKFAST TACOS EVER!!! I don’t live in Elgin anymore, but anytime I come into town, we have to make a stop here. This family-run taco shop is a true gem. Handmade tortillas and delicious salsas put their tacos over the top! Try the Texas Tech Taco if you’re a carnivore- you won’t be disappointed!

Tried their egg , cheese n potatoes taco. It was so good. Their salsa was super fresh n yummy. The flour tortilla just melted into my mouth. Will definitely stop by next time. Owner was a nice person too 🙂

100% the most tasty tacos I have had in a while! We are new to Elgin and decided to stop here for breakfast and I am so glad we did! The guy who took our order made a recommendation on what taco to try – Migas w bacon/cheese, did not disappoint! Homemade tortillas and salsa, cold drinks (bottled/canned) and great service. They take cash and Venmo. We will be back to enjoy more tasty tacos soon!

I’ve come to this family-run/owned restaurant for 15 years or more. The food is delicious and the people are great too. I love getting recommendations from the owner as he always steers me in the right direction. The last time I was here I recommend migas with bacon and it was amazing. I typically add Pico to all of my tacos because I do love the fresh citrus spicey notes in every bite. They also serve large tacos here on homemade tortillas which are lights out in flavor. They offer red and green salsas here with the green being more spicy and my favorite. Taco stop even has a habanero salsa sometimes and it’s delicious too. I recommend the Carne guisada, picidillo, migas, any of the egg tacos and the tortas
