Not too bad of a place, just one of those places where the math doesn’t quite work out to end on a full five star rating. It’s in the Wayland, Lincoln area, so I imagine they have a lot of customers with a lot of money who are really only getting the food as a cocktail or craft beer accessory. The wings are good. They’re crispy, I ate every single bite and the lettuce. But at $16 for 8 wings? That’s $2 a wing! I don’t even get a free dipping sauce at $2 a wing? The wings are good, but what I’m getting for what I’m paying just doesnt quite make true 5 territory. Gimme a sauce and a couple more wings, or don’t charge $16 for 8 wings and no sauce, otherwise it’s just a pass.

The screened patio was perfect for a summer celebration. The string lights were a very festive touch. The owner, chef, and staff were very attentive and accommodating and made the planning easy. Food was plentiful and unique. Rave reviews from the guests. Comfortable for our party of 25.

The Tack Room is a must-try! Friendly service, tasty cocktails & trendy craft beer, and (most important) delicious & creative food. Had a hard time choosing just one entree from the mouthwatering menu… so had to come back and try more. Dishes have generous portions & are packed with yummy flavor. Can’t recommend a better spot in Lincoln, Ma!

I had the Forager which was tasty. My wife had the Do Good Fried Chicken and Waffles which unfortunately comes with a breast and a thigh. Thighs are dark meat and my wife doesn’t eat dark meat, which meant half of my wifes meal was inedible. It’s not stated on the menu that this cones with a breast and a thigh, nor were we informed.

The foi gras was OK. It was basically cheese fries. The salmon and asparagus was good. The chicken and waffles was OK. The chicken was moist and god. The duck sandwich was good too.

Interesting selection of food. The soup was okay but a bit grissley and fatty. I got the venison stew. I wish there were potatoes in the stew.
