Amazing food. We chose the bone-in ribeye which was cooked perfectly, the foraged mushrooms (cooked in Sherry and Balsamic – absolutely delicious), and the chef’s vegetable special – asparagus with tallow butter. Topped it off with a bourbon praline cheesecake which was absolutely dreamy. Laura, our server, was great. She knew the menu inside and out and made great suggestions. Couldn’t beat the view!!

We loved our dinner here. The tuna was excellent as well as the steaks, wine and cocktails. We loved the ambience. Our server , Troy, was wonderful and knowledgeable and friendly as well.

We went here for our anniversary dinner and were not disappointed. The restaurant itself was absolutely beautiful and the food was delicious and very high-quality, I got the french onion soup and the braised ribs. But the best part was the service, our waitress made our experience even better and even gave us a free dessert.

Had a great time! Kris our server did a fantastic job and kept our drinks full and made sure everything was good. Food was fantastic. My brother who is in town works at a restaurant himself and was very impressed. See you guys again!

Gorgeous views and nice atmosphere but the service did not align with the menu prices. Went on a Sunday evening and it wasn’t busy, but still couldn’t get service at the bar while we waited for a table (despite tables being empty). Food was okay, but again, didn’t align with the menu prices. Sad because this place has SOO much potential with the gorgeous views and high-end feel.

Beautiful property, beautiful view, great drinks, food was not up to par. They seem to be struggling with obtaining a chef that is up to the standards of the rest of this great resort. The menu is solid, a good variety of something for everyone yet not too expansive. The salmon Oscar was a complete disappointment. They were out of a couple other items, the butter cake and the scalloped potatoes, that we would’ve liked to have tried. For the price, sadly, try another restaurant until the quality improves.

The restaurant is lovely and we were looking forward to having a nice dinner. Sat at the bar for 10 minutes before a young lady gave us water and said someone would be by. Another 5-10 minutes go by and she returns to see if anyone has helped us. Finally someone comes and takes our order. We cash out and go to our table. Server was nice but I think he had too many tables. Took 15+ minutes for him to return to take the table’s drink order. Then more time to actually get the drinks. Food was so so, steak was slightly warm and when someone finally came to check on us, they look it back and reheated it. When they brought it back the plate was new but the potatoes and butter were gone. It wasn’t busy and it should have been better. Bummed as it has such potential but I wouldn’t return.

My husband took me there for my birthday. He let me pick a restaurant and I picked this . I had a high expectations because this place is very fancy. When we got there we got seated right away and the waitress was very nice. It started off great, I had my appetizers and they were delicious as well as my drinks. Then it went downhill from there. Over an hour later our entree had not been served yet. The manager came by and said there was a miscommunication and reassured us it would be a couple more minutes and our dinner would be served. I already lost my appetite and by the time my dinner came, my food tasted like cardboard ( not bec it wasnt great but bec my mood had turned bad as well as my appetite) i was very upset. We were there for two hours and when I got my dinner i just took a bite and decided to box it. They were very nice though for offering us for free drinks and desserts and even my meal was free BUT it still ruined my night, waisted time. For a fancy place like this it could have been better. Very disappointing.

The Steakhouse at Flying Horse is an elegant spot, with great food and hand-picked wine. It is a great spot for a date night. The photos I have included were from their Valentine’s Day four course special. Their service was exceptional and kept the food/drinks coming with no wait. It also has great outdoor spots to sit and relax, such as their fireplace, before/after your meal.
