After seeing the menu online we decided to take a ride to Fairfield and check out The Stand vegan restaurant. So happy we did. They offer indoor & outdoor table service, take out and have a bakery as well. Everything from mock tails to dessert was totally on point. I started with a mocktail the blueberry mojito, so delicious with fresh blueberries & just the right amount of fresh mint. I moved on to the Casio e Pepe with eggplant Milanese. Whole wheat pasta dressed with just the right amount of “Parmesan” and three pepper sauce, topped with the crispiest crunchiest eggplant slices without a trace of grease to be found on them. Truely a wonderful elevated dish. I ordered a side of veggies in “magic sauce” a plate with summer & zucchini grilled squash slices and grilled asparagus arrived perfectly cooked and dressed in the magic sauce not sure what was in the sauce but it was the perfect compliment to the grilled veggies I loved it. My husband got the fresh veggie and hummus wrap veggies were nice and fresh wrap was super tasty. Did I mention they have wonderful desserts? I got a light as air lemon blueberry cheesecake just right citrus flavor light and fluffy not overly dense like many vegan cheesecakes I’ve had. My husband got the raspberry tart wonderful perfectly textured crust tart raspberries on top it was delicious! (Yes I snuck a taste) Seriously among the best of the best vegan dinners I’ve had. We will happily make the trip of over an hour to Fairfield again. The Stand is located just off I95 easy to find plenty of parking.

Really nice vegan cafe. The food is prepared in advance, you cannot customize the dishes but since it’s already out of dairy and eggs we didn’t care much. Immune tea is really cool, loved it. Whole grain wraps, brown rice, lots of vegetables, huge selection of fresh smoothies, some vegan pastries. Good prices, very healthy foods. Kids enjoyed too.

This was our first time here and the place didn’t disappoint. We had the Tofu banhmi and BBQ pesto griller. Totally LOVED the idea of burger with kale fries! Brilliant. It went so well with the flavors of the Banhmi. The choice of bread could have been better though as it was pretty hard and kinda was a bummer. Not sure if that happened cuz of over-toasting. But flavors, so good!

Was excited to try this place. I never review places but I was so disappointed I have to warn people. I’m not a picky eater, but sadly the burger I ordered was objectively subpar, and it came with only four fries that were not crispy and tasted like they had just been cut into wedges and baked with a bit of oil. The fry seasoning was good, but not good enough to carry the meal. The burger had a soft black bean patty that fell apart the moment I picked it up, and the blue cheese sauce was overly abundant, making for a very messy and unbalanced experience. The contents of the burger overall were very soft and unable to stay contained by the bun. I love food and really wanted to love this meal, especially because it cost $18 plus tax and tip.

We had to drive there 30 minutes, but it worth it. The food is delicious. Portions are huge. Coffee (oat milk latte) was great. Our waitress was super cute young lady.
