We ordered the bone marrow, Nashville hot fried shrimp, and drunken sauteed clams for appetizers. The bone marrow was nicely displayed and torched table side. The clams were okay but not outstanding or noteable. The shrimp were a bit spicy but great flavor, only 6 per order, so not enough for everyone in our party to try. The side salads cost extra to add to your entrée. Tried the fresh fish feature and the filet mignon. The filet mignon was absolutely AMAZING!!! The fish feature was cooked perfectly and would have enjoyed a bit more of the sauces. For dessert, we had the banana pudding coconut pie, creme brule, and Bailys infused chocolate pudding. The banana pie was by far the crowd favorite with the best flavor. The pudding tasted like chocolate pudding nothing special, the creme brule was the same as standard ones. The restaurant is very small inside and clean but odd table arrangements for parties of 8 we had a round table and a two person small table shoved together with two types of chairs (six cushion and two non-cushion). Would have preferred a rectangle table for consistency. The service was great! Would definitely order the filet mignon again. It is well worth the money.

What’s the best testimony when it comes to referring a place to others? “Would I go back myself?” And the answer is Yes- I would go back to the Spott. Yes- it is pricey. But if they deliver with quality and unique offerings, then you can decide for yourself whether it is worth the price.

Wow! What a great … spot! Husband and I stopped in at 1045p and guess what? They were more than happy to serve us food and drinks even though they were to close at 11p. TALK ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Everyone was so, so lovely! And the food was tremendous!! Side salad with our fish sandwich was delightful and fish sandwich was light, flaky and delicious! Going again to say thank you for serving us soooo late, and to take advantage of the great service and food.

Really great dinner! Everything we had was delicious. The staff was attentive and super friendly but not intrusive at all. We called ahead and the owner even had our 6 top ready for us by the time we arrived.

What an amazing “Spot!” We love this place!! The attention to detail from the delicious cocktails to the amazing chef prepared food is just great! It’s an amazing place where you can have anything from a great burger to a very special experience at their chef’s table with superior cuts of beef and chef’s specialties. The best food hands down. It is pricey but worth every penny. They dove in before I could get a complete photo… Cheese curds amazing, loved brussel sprouts. Steak was the best ever. Great service. Maple pecan cheesecake great flavor. In NSB visit Canal street… The Spott hands down is the best!!

I am sitting at the table right now. The food … wow. Sourced locally, hand made, and served in an atmosphere that makes you comfortable. Our server Scott is a wealth of knowledge about what we were selecting. He was all smiles and sincerity. Im honestly so impressed with our meal. A delight for my eyes, tantalizing for my nose, and an indescribable experience for my tastebuds. Scott will take care of you like the bestie who wants so share the best food in the world with you.

Heard so much about it that we went to try it out, and it lived up to the hype. First our party of 6 got sat at the Chef’s table which has a lazy Susan, which. Was great to “spin” our apps around and share. The pork belly, hot shrimp, and elk something all were great. I ordered the special which was a seafood manicotti and OMG, great presentation and flavor. Creme brulee was double the size of most places.

I wish I could give them 10 stars! Ironically, it wasn’t our first choice but after arriving at another local restaurant at 8:12 (yeah,I looked at my watch,they closed at 9)and getting a less the warm welcome,we actually got up and left.I HATE doing that, it’s so awkward. But it was his Birthday, he works late, and I didn’t want to feel rushed or like we were bothering them, so I suggested The Spott,as I knew they stayed open later…we walked in and asked if we could still get dinner (it was 8:35,again,watch,lol)

Looking for the best steaks around then The Spott is the “spot”. Amazing selection of fresh and perfectly prepared steaks! The service and presentation of all their meals are excellent. Enjoyable environment and fantastic selection of wines! Absolutely delicious!
