Came here for lunch as I was passing through town. I also was looking for a cafe I could work at. I had much higher expectations for this place based on what I had heard from others. The day I came in the staff behind the counter weren’t very friendly or welcoming. The experience was closer to what you’d get a gas station McDonald’s. That’s the first star. The second star is for the soggy bread on the bottom half of my sandwich. I ordered the corned beef and cheddar with a side of soup. The sandwich and soup was neatly plated and looked appetizing, but once I picked up the sandwich, the bottom piece of artisan bread had soaked through with whatever sauce they had put on it. Didn’t bother asking for another as I was in a hurry.

First time here. A very nice eatery in the Northside area of Ann Arbor. You order your food from a menu board then sit down and they bring it out to you. The food was excellent and the coffee was delicious! Definitely going to come here again.

The food was delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the atmosphere. It was clean and spacious, with nice decor (especially the burlap coffee bag seats!). Many interesting options for coffee, tea and sandwiches. Will try to come back again soon.

I had the Chipotle Turkey Club, the red velvet cupcake, and cold brew coffee. The club was fresh, large, but lacking in flavor in the chipotle sauce. The cupcake was good, not great. The coffee was good. The people were nice and the food came quick.

Honestly, not horrible. But with the amount of competition in the breakfast market, the omelette I had was very… meh. I had a sausage cheddar bell pepper omelette. The sausage was almost non-existent in terms of flavour, the entire dish was under seasoned and lacked any kind of refinement or technique. The potatoes were baked at way too high a temperature where they were over and undercooked at the same time. Will probably come back to try their sandwiches, but avoid the omelettes. My wife had the goat cheese spinach and mushroom, and while the flavours were more present, she too reached for the salt and pepper shaker. The drinks were absolutely delicious (peach mint iced tea for both of us) and the ambience is exactly what you hope for. I feel like we did get value for our money, but their kitchen has a very weak palate.
