Great BBQ in the Temecula area. We ordered the full spread which was enough for the six of us. The brisket was the best on the platter. There is also a bar in the building that has really good cocktails.

We decided to try this place, I am so glad we did. The place is very casual with family style seating, since it’s a food court. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and gave good suggestions since it was our first time. My husband had the pulled pork, and I had the beef brisket. The meat just melts in your mouth. The bbq sauce was not overpowering, it was smooth and flavorful. We plan on definitely coming back. If your looking for good food this is worth the stop.

If you are from the south or a state with good BBQ, do not even bother. The pulled chicken was not shredded at all. The brisket was dry and flavorless. I mistook their sauce for ketchup. Maybe this is just California BBQ ‍♀️ I was not impressed.

I’d read online that this placed served a Cubano Sandwich, a real favorite when I lived in New York City. The restaurant is a food counter within a mini food court called The Cookhouse in a very cute retail development called Vail Headquarters. It’s the site of an historic old ranch, with modern theming to match, surrounded by strip malls along Temecula Parkway. To cut to the chase, I didn’t like my Cubano. The food was high quality, if very pricey and small but certainly large enough to satisfy. But they used heavily smoked and BBQ-rubbed pork which didn’t marry well, I thought, with the traditional Cubano ingredients of swiss cheese, mustard and pickles. I don’t mind “re-inventing” classic foods as long as the result is tasty. This was just bizarre and kind of unpleasant. Sorry. No seating indoors now for Covid 19 but plenty of picnic tables outdoors. And plenty of free parking adjacent.

The Cubano sandwiches are quite tasty, but definitely a small sandwich for the price. Ordered the 2meat 2side as well, it was a good portion for the price, although when it comes to the taste…not much there and the meats are very dry. Macaroni n cheese was tasty, but the tater salad was also kind of dry. Kind of a disappointment.

My friends brisket was very fatty and he through out most of it. My burger was alright and Mac and cheese was good, wish they had a combo plate. Spent 30 dollars for a burger and Mac and cheese and a can of soda

Great pulled pork and ribs, order a bunch of sides, Mac n cheese, beans, corn bread and slaw. slaw wasn’t the best, but everything else was delicious. Dinner for my father in law

The best bbq in San Diego. Not very big menu, but everything they have is very delicious! My favorites are pulled pork and chicken, with side of coleslaw. But we’ve tried their sandwiches as well, and they are really, really good.

This place is cute, quaint and tasty! They play great music, the menu is different and the service is good. I have eaten here twice and both times we had to take a plate to go! I love that they have meat in the smoker out front, smells so great!

Succulent Southern smoked meats and sides. Part of a new mini-food Place planning LLP hall in Vail Village a short drive from Main Street Temecula.
