Being from NY, I know its hard to get real NYC pizza outside the area but with all the reviews, I thought this would be amazing…it was NOT! First, a pie is $30?? What? In NYC you can get a pie for less! Not only that but for $30 it should be one of the best pizzas around….it was not. We ordered pepperoni, mushrooms and onions and there were hardly any of these ingredients on the pizza! Plus, the crust was undercooked and doughy. The pictures from other reviews look great but this was not the case for us. Why does your whole pie shop make terrible pizzas yet the other place is good for slices. Really disappointed. Really want my money back and want the option of ordering from the original site.

The Slice House is as close to authentic NY pizza as you’ll find in St. Mary’s County. We like to pop-in for lunch takeout or bring the kids for a quick slice on the weekends. Recommend the Chicken Cilantro pizza, as well as the meatball sub and Italian sub. Friendly staff and ownership who care about Leonardtown.

This pic is from my dinner from The Slice House II Go, but it wouldn’t be fair to not leave a review here, too, since it was the slices for lunch that made me return for a whole pizza from the other location. I went for one of their delicious subs, but I couldn’t pass on the pizza special with fresh tomatoes and basil from the local farmers market. The Mexican street corn pizza special was great, too. This location has a great atmosphere, the staff are always friendly, and it’s my go-to stop for lunch in Leonardtown. I highly recommend.

Pizza was great. The beer choices were Outstanding. The owner Ken came by our table to talk and let us try some of their latest sandwich creations. My wife and I just love the Slice House. The entire staff are great folk. Plan a visit you won’t be disappointed.
