Really unique setting for practically authentic Pisco sours and what Anthony Bourdain calls the Greatest Sandwich in America.

Compared to Three Dots and a Dash and Hala Kahiki, this place was WAY too loud! I could barely hear my friends talk. Management said the boss wanted it that loud. When I go to a tiki bar, I want a chill, relaxed atmosphere.

Just received the BEST old fashioned from Marvin. He is an amazing bartender and passionate about his work. Thank you Marvin and The Silver Palm!!!

my Three Little Pigs sandwich was pretty darn tasty. the onion ring were tasty and thick cut. i enjoyed my Old Style much more than i thought i would. she got a chicken ceasar salad she seemed to enjoy. we would definitely go back.

The ribs were below average and the onion rings had no taste whatsoever. Would not eat there again.

The idea of eating in a old train car, made me go there. The food was better than your average bar grub. French onion soup was spot on. The sammy portions are on the larger size, I ain’t complaining. Our server was very attentive and pleasant.

Good food and great service. Plus eating in the train car was very cool. Packed house when we came in but food still came out quickly and hot. Drinks were strong and good selection of choices. I used to cook pizza in a school bus and loved what they did with the train car. I will be back when I am in town next.

Some things are good. The 3 little piggy sandwich was good but overrated. Would have been perfect with about 1/3 of the ham. My wife however did not enjoy her meal, she got the fish tacos and couldn’t stomach more than a couple of bites, which was a first for her.

Best Manhattan in Chicago and possibly the best cocktails too. Each cocktail costs about $8-$9, or maybe more if you get the special one. The kicker though is that you are left with the shaker used and there is enough left inside to give you a full refill! The head bartender is the nicest guy. He embodies customer service.

I have yet to eat here but the atmosphere is just great old school chicago. The drinks were affordable and very well crafted. The pineapple gimlet was fantastic! Can’t wait to come back and eat a Three Little Pigs!!
