I just want to inform food is excellent but the staff isnt, first it took them a while for them come get our drink order, we got our drinks and sweet tea had no sugar we asked to change it twice so we got cokes, refill was needed and during our meal still no drinks so i had to get up and ask for our drinks. We were done with our meals we asked for our receipt to pay ,waitress took a while to come get our payment so again we got up to ask someone where we could pay waitress could be seen chatting and laughing. The best part of dinner was being helped by the chef lady at the pasta bar and food was amazing.

This place is a hidden gem! I’ve visited The Shrimp Boat twice, and the food quality is consistently amazing. They have several buffets throughout the week with quite the spread. The decor is dated, but don’t let that turn you away! The service and food quality makes up for it. Give it a try!

Alfredo ala carte, yes I will!!! Only one tiny cluster of steamed crab legs though. The seafood soup on the salad bar was a good workaround for that. The fried fish was above par as well. The atmosphere reminded me of an 80s sitcom restaurant scene.

From the time we walked in to the restaurant no one was at the front to greet us. We had to ask a waitress for a table and she looked at us like we were from another planet. When she finally spoke I could not hear or understand her. She very reluctantly sat us at a table for 5. To make this review short all the waitress were rube and seemed at they couldn’t understand English or didn’t want to serve us. I got our menus because we were very asked if we were ordering buffet or off the menu. Our waitress got distracted on something else; she forgot about our food this was told to us by the other waitress that bought out our food. We will never go back and this was our first time there. All the waitresses seemed like they would prefer to somewhere else than there.

I went on Seafood night and it was cool. They have everything you can think of. I love that my crab legs were cooked just right. Easy to snap and the meat slid out easy like it’s supposed to. The food was good and the staff was friendly. I love seafood so I would go back.
