When in Mystic, this is an absolute must! In fact, this should be your go to place and you should visit more than once and we’re kinda upset we didn’t.

I visited the ship Wright’s daughter with high expectations, but I was disappointed by the service and the food. My son’s pancakes came out undercooked and still with batter in the middle, even though they looked super fluffy and delicious. When they fixed them, they were indeed super fluffy and delicious, but it took too long and ruined our appetite. The waitress was not attentive and did not come back to take our order after one of us asked for more time. The eggs Benedict were substandard, but the two eggs breakfast with potatoes was amazing. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a satisfying brunch.

Edit: just looked and realized people are leaving 4 star reviews even after having great experiences. I’m not sure what they’re comparing this to, but you’d be hard pressed to find a restaurant of this quality anywhere remotely in the area. Anyway…..

A pleasant experience from start to finish. The service, food and atmosphere were all fantastic. We had window table in the bar area so it was great overlooking the Main Street while sitting indoors. The wine list was a cross between eclectic and familiar names, we chose to go eclectic with the Robert Sinskey Pinot Noir and it’s now a new favorite. The peach butter with the bread makes you want to, well, eat all the bread. The chicken entree was surprisingly flavorful and complimented the Pino well. We’ll be back the next time we’re in Mystic

This was the best Anniversary dinner we have had. Located in beautiful downtown Mystic by the Drawbridge. Walking in, it was comfortable and friendly. Amazing service started at the door! At the table, our most helpful server, KJ (sorry if I butchered the name) answered any questions about drinks, food…drinks were delicious, Aperol spritz and a smokey margarita ( yep, don’t remember the smoky tequila). Starts, fresh oysters and crispy fried oysters. Main course, Organic Berkshire Pork Chop- cooked to perfection! Not your ordinary chop. And Bucatini Mushrooms, with the right amount of sherry, herbs, and cream. We were not orderi g dessert, though everything looked tempting. Our server was gracious enough to bring us a celebratory dessert, Autumn Fruit Pavlova, which was a beautiful, delectable end to a fine dinner. My daughter visits there many times for brunch or dinner, now we know why! Cheers!

A fine dining experience with nice views of Downtown Mystic and a calm vibe to it. Duck was cooked perfectly and the flounder was melt in your mouth. Service was exceptional, will def be back to try the breakfast!

I came here with a group of friends for breakfast while visiting the area if Mystic. We made reservations and were seated right away. The inside was extremely cute and had great decor. The menu was a decent size with a lot of options that were unique and different. I got the marker scramble and thought the mushrooms in it were amazing. The chicken fat potatoes I felt needed a bit of salt but still good. Our waitress was friendly, attentive and helpful. It was a little pricey, but quality food and in a nice area so it made sense.

This place should honestly have a 5 star review. Everything about it was incredible. I’m on a mission to try every place in Mystic, CT and this one is the best. Everything from the drinks to dessert was absolutely top notch. Friendly staff, beautiful atmosphere, seasonal menu with fresh food. This place is a must and I will be coming here everytime I visit Mystic.

Great food. Even better staff. Inside is cramped, and you eat your food if in a booth with a view of someone else eating their food less than 4 feet away from you. The pickled deviled eggs are amazing but grossly overpriced at $5 for half an egg was a little outrageous. Bloody Mary was just ok, oysters were amazing.

Wasn’t a huge fan. Sat at the bar and asked for one of their cocktails without orange liqueur because I’m not a fan. The bartender told me I wouldn’t taste it and without it, the drink would be “unbalanced”. I trusted him and got it as listed on the menu. I did not care for it but he never came back so I couldn’t ask for a different drink. The atmosphere is great but the service leaves something to be desired.
