The cowboy corn bites were absolutely divine! Definitely don’t pass on those with a side of their great ranch. We enjoyed a couple of nice stiff drinks with a great view of the lake from the bar while we waited for our meals. You can definitely tell this is a place where everybody knows your name’ as locals were popping in to chat with the staff.

We walked in and it was so dark and dingy and quiet. Food was good but we had flies all around us and landing on us that we decided to pack our food up to eat it at the cabin instead. We are use to friendly people and it was like all the workers were gloomy and didn’t want to talk.

The service at this restaurant was terrible!! An actual shipwreck of a place, you can tell it’s family owned and the blonde must be thrown into a job she hates. We had to ask for a refill while we watched her chug down 2 drinks. We asked for sweetener for tea and she pointed, it’s over there.. we got up and got it ourselves as she was very inconvenienced. Please note, there wasn’t anyone else in the place except a couple locals the bar. The food was ok but the atmosphere of the restaurant was awful. Don’t waste your time, go across the street. The food and atmosphere are 10x better.

City people like me will be glad to have an elbow rub with fisherfolk and John Deer types unhitched from time and nowhere to go but this lake side watering hole. I’m shocked! Shocked! I tell you that anyone would complain about slow service. Listen fool loosen your belt, shoot some pucks and the breeze, the guy at the bar wearing dirty jeans, he’s alot better at splitting wood than you are.
