Our server was very kind and attentive. However, our server brought appetizers less utensils and plates. Our server insisted they did not serve a meal listed on the menu (apologized well). For this price point, the chicken was almost a portion for a child– the baked potato was triple the size (if not more) of the chicken. Upon reflection, we felt that the server wasn’t adequately trained or ready to work without supervision. There are plenty of restaurants eager to earn my patronage. This restaurant is not.

Nice atmosphere with the candlelight. Got a World flight which was a nice mix of whiskeys. Ordered the cheese curds and the lobster bisque. Cheese curds were huge and amazing, lobster bisque was sub-par. It was watery without any chunks of lobster, hardly a bisque. We waited to order until after the appetizers and it took them 40 minutes to bring out our food..which was a pretty long wait. I got the Amish Chicken Breast, the chicken was cooked perfectly and hot with a nice crispy skin. The grits underneath were cold with undercooked butternut squash cubes. My husband’s Striploin Steak was mostly fat and overcooked..they were nice and did take it of the bill. He also had a baked potato that didn’t come with butter and there was no salt and pepper at the table.

Dinner with the daughters. Great food. Great atmosphere. Waitress was a little off. Decor was amazing. Loved the booths with the curtains around them and the photos on the walls.

Amazing food and drinks. The fish and chips was delicious. My MIL loved her Shepard’s pie. I never liked whiskey until I had the spiked hot whiskey. The waiter, James, was friendly and a great host.

I went in at 9:15 on Friday night because it said online they were open until 11pm. The host asked us if we wanted to eat, we said yes, and he took an extremely long pause, despite having mostly open tables, walked back to the bartender, came back and said he could seat us. He gave us dinner menus when seating us. No one came to our table until 9:32. The bartender then told us at that point the dinner menu couldn’t be served, only about 4 apps. I understand dinner isn’t always available late, but we were left with the impression they purposefully waited until 9:30 to let us know they didn’t serve dinner because they didn’t feel like it, rather than just telling us upfront so maybe we wouldn’t waste our time and walk away.

Food was delicious. We had a number of dishes…shepherd’s pie, Amish chicken, prime rib. That prime rib was enormous! Our server was very attentive. Highly recommend this place.

A whiskey bar/restaurant has never fallen from grace in a year’s span like this. I began frequenting for the food originally over a year ago, they carried condiments from the UK and it was excellent. I gave it five stars.
