Food was ok. Asked for onion rings as they looked good on another’s plate and got fries – didn’t feel like waiting for an order fix as the food took a while already. Tables were sticky and heavy metal music wasn’t the lunch dinner vibe. Watching Biggest Loser on TV as you’re scarfing down fried food is also not without guilt. It was ok. $20 a plate.

The Shack was great! There was no wait when we arrived and were seated on the outdoor patio (sun shaded) and were served by Shaunny. She was excellent! Super funny and inviting. The restaurant is known for their burgers so we each gave one a try. Definitely didn’t disappoint! I highly recommend The Shack for your next burger on Oahu.

Great little spot with an awesome atmosphere. Jumped off the plane and needed somewhere to grab some food and couldn’t have stopped at a better place. Service was friendly and food was fantastic. Had a great “local” feel.

Very nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. We both ordered burgers (that actually come with fries for no extra $) and they were excellent. We loved this place. I wanted to try the wings but uh…that’s an astronomical price!

Service was painfully slow and the staff were a bit flighty but thankfully accurate. Took about 30-45min just to order and then another 1hr to get the food. Tables and chairs were a bit sticky but I think it’s the cleaner they use because it didn’t look dirty. Not overly impressed but giving 3 stars for the fact that the food was decent and hot when it came out. Probably won’t return though.

Pastrami Reuben delicious, a little skimpy on the pastrami. Chicken wings underwhelming, sauce had nice kick. Dragon cider DELICIOUS. Waitress nice, outdoor space pleasant. Nice stop after moped tour of east side of island.
