I was doing some traveling and came across this great little place. The staff was excellent and the food was really good. I had their “shack special” which is a burger with pulled pork on top and it was amazing. I topped it all off with a huckleberry, real ice cream, shake for the road. Def worth a stop

The pizzas are pretty good – definitely not the healthiest but definitely delicious! They have a lot of unique options and the gluten free crust is yummy! Fast, friendly service.

This was a little restaurant out in the country. The food was delicious had a great fresh salad bar. Our waitress was excellent. There are five of us and all ordered at the same time she never made a mistake. She introduced us to ice cream we never heard of it was delicious. Recommend anybody to eat there. Prices were good too.

1/2 meatball sandwich and 1 trip to salad bar which includes a cup of delicious soup of the day was perfect. Salad bar selections weren’t labelled but everything was delicious. Don’t miss the historical center!! I agreed with and loved the John Steinbeck quote.

Very nice place. Food was good and the waitress was great. We had the pizza, all made from scratch. Salad bar was also very good. A+++

Cute little place right on the main road with good food and nice atmosphere. Waitress was really nice but they were recovering from a very busy weekend so service was a little slow. I had the Malibu chicken sandwich with waffle fries (fries are a little spicy but they were very tasty). Hubby had the club sandwich and he really liked it too. I would definitely recommend The Shack.

The prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly. I had a double bacon cheeseburger and it was very good… cooked the way I asked and very juicy. It’s also worth mentioning that their burgers are 6oz patties also. Will definitely eat here again!

This was a little hole in the wall but it was super inexpensive and delicious they have a salad bar and pizza bar and I did not get to try the pizza cuz I eat healthy but I did do the salad bar which was awesome so great to have salad bars back again and they also have a special deal where you either get pizza and salad or soup and salad and I got the soup and soup was delicious as well I’ll probably never be back to Whitehall but if you ever go it’s a cool little place to get a great meal for a really inexpensive cost.

I rarely give 5 stars, this place is delicious the people are nice and it can get super busy sometimes and they just take it in stride! A must visit and try the jalapeno popper grilled cheese! Yummy!
