We stopped by for lunchtime pickup. Glad we finally made it. Even tho I feel like they was a person short the service was good. The waitress and the cashier was handling multiple responsibilities and went above and beyond. Be patient. The atmosphere and food was great. Cooked to perfection.

I’ve experienced dining in and take out. The quality of food was great either way. Today was takeout, and we ordered the crab legs and shrimp seafood boil.

We went last Friday for lunch. It was our first visit and it did not start off great. We were the first customers in the restaurant and still had to wait almost an hour for our food. Our child’s food arrived and was finished before we received the adult entrees. However, we were pleased once we received our food- 2 boil bags. They were delicious.

We had a group of 4, 3 got the broil bags, all 3 loved them. Catfish, fried pickles, corn nuggets where are consumed at the table, all good. Service was great, clean restaurant overall. Only minor inconvenience was we were the first in for dinner, and the 2nd party in was sat right next to us when the rest of the small restaurant was empty. Meaning we had to over hear their conversation while trying our own, suggest spacing out a bit, the place isn’t that big.

My first time visiting the restaurant for dinner (have previously only gotten take-out), and it was a great experience! Wait for our food was a bit long, but the meals themselves were worth it! I’ll definitely dine-in again soon.

Had the gumbo, because I had a craving. It was fine, though a bit of a salt bomb. There was one person doing everything in the front of the house, and he was absolutely hustling. Don’t know that I would make a special trip again, but so few restaurants are open Monday. My experience was perfectly adequate.

This was a cool lil spot that was really nice on the inside. It’s next door to a gym and the loud speakers blare through the walls making it hard to hear the jazz being played. I had the catfish platter and it was good. There are no filet options. The okra was amazing! The hush puppies were small and were obviously frozen.

Cheree was great and went about and beyond to make sure we were straight. The food was picture perfect; we really enjoyed it.

The waiter was rude. I asked for a larger table to get some elbow room and was told that half of the restaurant was not open. The seats were not very comfortable. My daughter asked for half lemon pepper and half sweet heat for her 10 wings. She was told no. The fried green tomatoes were ok but the shrimp and grits were not good at all. Shrimp was overcooked and the grits were bland. The only redeeming quality was the beignets. Skip the meal and have dessert. It’s definitely a NO for me.
