Quaint location with good food. It’s a small space with tables pretty close together but you don’t feel cramped. The vibe is very relaxed and people aren’t really concerned with each other, everyone was just quietly in their own world.

The Good: Once ordered the food was delivered with speed. My wife loved the sweet tea. The Bad: we ordered pancakes. The pancakes are pretty good size but they ration out the syrup. You get a small amount that is barely enough. They charge you $0.75 for extra syrup. The wait staff stood around and never asked us if we were good or needed anything. We had to ask for refills on the tea even though they saw our glasses empty. First to visiting we not go again.

It seems funny being that the definition of a scullery is a small kitchen in the back of a home used for dirty tasks because the food coming out of it is anything but. I ordered the Hungry Pirate, and she ordered the Rueben with a fruit cup. I was positively amazed by the simple yet complex flavors I experienced from breakfast food, and the additional cinnamon bun flavor on the pancakes is a MUST. Being greeted at the door by a nice young woman and having my questions promptly answered made me feel welcomed and encouraged me to feel at home. The atmosphere is artistic and exactly what you’d expect. I can’t wait to come back here every time I pass through Greenville, and we’re getting coffee before we leave because we were so impressed. Until next time, The Scullery, stay classy.

Three of us arrived 20 minutes before closing on a Friday. We were welcomed graciously and I enjoyed the chicken salad plate. Delicious. The chef walked through the dining area greeting everyone and asking how they were enjoying the meal. I have dined here before and recommend it.

We went here for breakfast on a Monday morning and it was quite busy! The staff were very friendly and ordering went relatively quick. We had a Cloud 9 espresso drink which was delicious! My husband had a breakfast burrito which was awesome, but a little skimpy on the sausage. I had the healthy breakfast sandwich which was also great, but did not feel healthy due to the bread being doused in butter when it was griddled. I would get it again but with dry toast. Overall, we had a very good experience.

By far the best black bean burger ever. I’m vegan so I’m so glad they could make it vegan friendly. The portion size is huge too. Flavorful with a nice kick. Nicest employees as well!!!

Busy place. Great downtown location. 25 minute wait for table but that’s plenty of time to peruse UBE and maybe pickup an ECU t-shirt or 2. Loved my hot salad with grilled chicken. Pirate breakfast looked delish, but my husband wasn’t too keen on the local burger. He just wasn’t feeling the spices (garlic, maybe?) in the the patty. Hot chocolate was a work of art. We’ll be back. Service was very friendly and we were treated to an impromptu and lovely rendition of The Christmas Song sung by one of the staff.
