Fine dining prices, but not fine dining food, service or atmosphere.

We have tried to eat here a few times, but it just didn’t work out until now. I’m so glad we made it in for an evening meal. Rib eye steaks and crab cakes were the choice of the evening. Delicious! We also had the Lava cake for dessert. It was very moist and tasty. Our server was excellent and even held the door for us as we left the restaurant. We will certainly be returning. If you are in the area, call ahead and make a reservation. You’ll be glad you did.

First time in. Made reservations on-line; highly recommend. Went in and they didn’t have my reservation listed, but I had it on my phone and we were seated promptly. Tables were nice with white tablecloth, candle, and a rose. Had meatballs for the appetizer and they were great. Ordered cocktails and the were very well balanced. Waited quite a while for our entrees and eventually the owner came over to inform us that they had lost our ticket, but they were expediting our orders to get them out asap. They did and they were great. The owner is hands on and fully aware of what’s going on in his business. He gave us dessert to make up for the wait. Despite the slight hiccups, everything was great and we will definitely be back. Very reasonable prices.

Wonderful candlelit dinner with soft jazz and amazing service. The food is perfect. Best crab cakes I have ever had. The green onion chicken is amazing. The owner checked on us twice and the server was amazing.

And we’d delivery a six star rating as this place goes above and beyond any other place in Danville! The food is always the best, the service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is very cozy. Calamari and ribeye were perfectly cooked and seasoned on our most recent visit. It’s just an experience that one cannot find anywhere in Danville.

The food was exceptional. I had the crabcake appetizer which was amazing I especially liked the sauce that was served on the side. My wife had the fried green tomato chicken breast which she really enjoyed and I had an 8 oz filet that seasoned nicely and cooked perfectly. To finish the key lime pie which was as good as any I’ve eaten anywhere! Thanks for a great, memorable meal. We truly enjoyed it.

Our first time here but definitely not our last. The food was amazing from the appetizer to the entre. Best crab cakes I’ve had in years. Excellent staff as well.

We went on a Monday night, 7 people in our party. There was a jazz singer who was absolutely amazing. We ordered fried green tomatoes with goat cheese as an appetizer. Probably the best I’ve ever eaten. The bread with olive oil came a little late in my opinion. I ordered scallops with asparagus, sausage and wild rice with cranberries. It was delicious but a little lukewarm. Someone else ordered the same dish and his plate had noticeably less than mine . Two people ordered steak and the one who ordered medium well got the well done the other ordered. Salads as a meal came after others received their food which was weird. All in all, the food was delicious though. The smoked gouda mashed potatoes were amazing. Chocolate lava cake….decadent. Although I was slightly underwhelmed with the food, the atmosphere and presentation, the entertainment and friendliness says I’ll be back.
