Food was amazing, but they felt it was priced a little high for a diner atmosphere. Also didn’t love that you had to pay an upcharge for french fries. That being said the French fries were good and I would pay the upcharge to get them again. Lay’s potato chips just don’t hit the same with a burger. The milkshakes were good but average. However the patty melt was amazing! Best one I’ve had in a long time!

A nice little place with old school diner vibes. The ladies working the dining room at breakfast were cordial and accommodating, and my breakfast came out pretty quickly! I’d say $13.64 for the Special + hash browns and a hot mug of coffee with top offs was a bargain!

I take my sandwiches very seriously and so do the folks at The Sandwich Shop Diner, a cozy restaurant on the main drag in Collinsville, IL. This place is a real STL metro treat. The menu isn’t overwhelming. They have good, reliable, and fun burgers and sandwiches that all come with chips or french fries for a couple bucks extra. I highly recommend you take your family and friends for a great burger.

The mushroom and Swiss burger with potato chips is delicious!! Today makes the third time my mother and I have been here. Twice now for lunch and once to eat breakfast. And everything from service to food etc is great.

Dennys disappointed us. We asked about anything special for kid birthdays, their response was, “We don’t do any of that!” We called the diner & they said come on down! Coming from Arkansas, They DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Sang my now 5yr old happy birthday, brought him a nice treat after breakfast! The food was great! AWESOME service & staff!!! Nice music. Great “mom & pop” diner vibe & hospitality!!! Definitely would recommend & return again!!!!

If you love the music of the 50’s, and that down home feeling, then this is your place!! Diane the top server will take care of you 100% while you are jamming out on the music from back in the day of good times! They have a nice selection of food choices and open at 7am! The company I work for are regulars on Friday mornings. We enjoy breakfast, and have our weekly meeting.
