Unfortunately I was unable to try the food here. I showed up shortly after opening. The hostess was pleasant and seated me promptly. At this point there was only one other customer in the entire restaurant; he was seated at the bar.

The food was good. I ordered a pasta dish with keek shrimp that was very tasty.

Came here after a long trip. Our party of three were seated immediately. We ordered a round of the rum punch, which might be the most addictive liquid known to man. Then came out the food, two curry dishes (chickpeas and goat) as well as the mushroom ravioli. The food looked, smelled, and tasted like heaven. I will definitely return

Great little Jamaican restaurant in Hartford! Have you visited Jamaica and miss it?! Eat here! Hands down the best dish was the brown stew chicken! The ackee and saltfish appetizer was great! The jerk chicken and pork are also good although the skin is soft and a bit soggy but the sauce served on the side makes up for it.

This restaurant has very loud music which is unnecessary and is a turn off. You can’t even dance to it. There’s no purpose for it.. The food is nothing different just mediocre. Atmosphere nothing different just mediocre. This restaurant doesn’t have much class. Such a disappointment to work for and for Hartford.

the food was really average, could get it from literally anywhere else for cheaper and it would taste better. the pricing is not worth it, and we weren’t offered refills ONCE. service was terrible, we literally saw the staff goofing off and talking to each other? do not recommend coming here for a nice restaurant dine-in. only come for drinks. overpriced and unprofessional.

This is a nice place with great drinks and even better food. The ambiance is quaint yet magnificent at the same time. The owner is very personable and greets customers. I recommend this experience.

Super disappointed 🙁 I was told the best Jamaican restaurant in Hartford was here and the reviews looked amazing. The venue was really beautiful I especially loved their lighting. The hostess was very friendly and helpful with our reservations. My waitress/bartender was polite for the most part but me and my friend discussed how weird we noticed her acting ? We didn’t pay too much because we were excited about the food. For our appetizer we ordered the grilled jerk shrimp skewers and they were really good. My friend ordered the honey bbq jerk salmon and I had the stew chicken. The salmon which I tried was SUPER DISGUSTING! I cook ALOT so I’m pretty sure they served frozen salmon and overcooked it at that. My stew chicken wasn’t that appetizing I’ve had WAY better at other restaurants. The only thing we enjoyed was the corn bread they serve as a free appetizer and the rice and peas our meals came with as a side. Such a shame because I was looking so much forward to write a good review.

Tasty food and reliable service! I left a pair of headphones while passing through for a wedding and Nicole, one of the servers mailed them to me as far as the west coast. Thanks!
