Not flashy but satisfying diner food. We stopped for breakfast on a Sunday and just missed the brunch rush. Service was super friendly. Drinks came out quickly and though we waited a bit for food it was pleasant. I had the southwest burrito, and my wife had the veggie burrito which were both cooked well and very tasty. I especially appreciated that the portion sizes were ample but not ginormous and the prices were fair. Decor is stuck in the 80s so there’s that but if you are looking for a decent diner breakfast with good service and fair prices, The Rose fits the bill.

What’s not to love about an authentic diner! A lot of options on the menu, guaranteed to find something you’ll like. We loaded up on a few different breakfast items and weren’t disappointed. Clean plates and full stomachs!

This restaurant has been here for a really long time and I’m sure I was just there on an off-day.

Stumbled here on a warm Sunday while walking around puyallup and got a seat at the bar top right away! The owner was our server and he was so kind and funny. The food was absolutely delicious and fairly priced. Watching the restaurant work you can tell people are happy and there are good vibes among the staff and the customers!

Lived in this area for years and didn’t know this place existed.

Great place! Friendly staff. Comfy surroundings. Special note: The music was not loud, and wasn’t rap or country. Beautiful!

Ordered the chicken Cesar. It wasn’t bad. Asked for added avocado and sliced onions. Wasn’t charged for the extra. That was kind. For a $15 salad, it seemed small. Lettuce used appeared to be shredded like you find on a taco. It was served on an appetizer sized plate like a side salad and not an entre. Would have preferred chopped chicken to evenly mix and distribute. Service was good and friendly. Value for salad was less than desirable. Restaurant cleanliness over all was ok. Tables were clean, but floor had some signs of significant mess. I give this place an overall 2.5 stars out of 5. Maybe other food items have better value, don’t know. My humble opinion.

Two people at our table ordered eggs Benedict, and both orders had eggs you could bounce off the sidewalk. Yolks were complete chalk, and the rest of the food was pretty bland. Servers were friendly, but the service was bad. We had to request everything from multiple servers- silverware, salt, cream & sugar. And after dropping off our food, no one bothered to check back again. We had to flag someone down at the register to pay. Would highly recommend people steer clear until management figures this place out.

The food was good and the waiter was very good at his job and not bad to look at. We ordered our food and his helper brought our meals within minutes. We were amazed and surprised since the table next to us had not received their food and they arrived before us. Half way through our meal we found out that we were given the neighboring tables meal. They ordered exactly the same thing. Eggs Benedict and chicken fried steak. They were so understanding and polite that we decided to buy their meal as well. It was a simple mistake by a rookie food runner. Again the waiter was very good looking 😉 I’ve added pics of the menus since prices have gone up.

My second time coming here and I’ve enjoyed their breakfast foods. I was expecting a bigger size breakfast burrito, but it was alright. Was it worth $14 for an average breakfast burrito with hash browns? Probably not.
