The Roost began serving craft beers, craft cocktails, local wine, and delicious Farm to Table food in January of 2018.
We’re a modern pun with a full bar. We have 10 beers on tap along with a craft beer bottle and can selection. We offer craft cocktails and a wine selection as well.
Our seasonal menus feature local ingredients used to create our appetizers, sandwiches and salads. You will love our double fried wings, too! We also roast our own coffee for our espresso and coffee drinks including our popular Pub Coffee.

Cool bar with interesting decor and art throughout. We had to wait about 20 minutes to get a table on a Saturday night. There was a mixup when we asked to change tables and we had to flag down a waiter to take our order after some time. Food was very good but also took quite a while to come out. Would definitely give it another try when in the area.

I had a good meal, grass fed beef cheese steak. Only thing is they got order wrong, and the order of the guy I was with. Food is good and folks super nice, but there’s some disorganization in the kitchen. You’re gonna like what you get, it just might not be what you ordered

Excellent wings!! Highly recommend trying the bourbon molasses flavor. Had the Mac n Chesse with bacon chicken ranch, it was good and fulfilling. Nice selection of beer. Fast and friendly service. Really happy with deciding to stop here while passing through town. Definitely coming here again next time I am in the area.

As someone who’s worked in the food & beverage industry, I’m blown away. We got this recommendation from my boyfriend’s mom. Everything exceeded my expectations. My mulled cider & booze with bourbon was much needed after hiking all day & flavorful. I got the maple chicken sandwich & the Dijon mustard that came with it was so tasty. There’s no words for how good the tots were, these are the tots I’d eat for the rest of my life. The bartender, Erinn was so friendly, attentive & really completed our phenomenal experience. This will be our go to place whenever we are up north!

The staff was really warm/attentive, food was hot and our burgers were perfect! Great spot for dinner after a hike/before some star-watching. Ask for the complimentary trail mix(?) it’s got peanuts in it and we love it

I tried to give this place a chance even though robin Adam’s mom called a beautiful lady a hogbody (and you need to see this lady in the flesh!) ha! Yet robin scheduled me for an interview and didn’t show up the first time, nor the second time. Better places to get wings in town and have more professionalism from owners.

Stopped in walking the streets of Wellsboro for some lunch. Great little place the atomospher is very unique. We started with an old fashion and Watermelon Shandy. We ordered garlic dill cheese curds as an appetizer very delicious the breading taste like funnel cake! We had the pork Mac and cheese that was very excellent and the spicy shrimp tacos. We joined another table of friends they really enjoyed their taco salads and burger. This place is definitely worth the stop!
