Beautiful dining atmosphere. New to the area. The food was very tasty. The service was excellent, very nice people. We appreciate Ali, the manager being so attentive and considerate and wanting honest feedback to improve service. We will definitely come back to try more food and drinks. We also can’t wait to come back to the speakeasy – cozy and super cool place to meet people for drinks and gatherings.

New neighborhood gem! great atmosphere- lively bar- oysters were clean, fresh & cold! ( we had 3 orders!) Calamari was tender & lightly breaded, mushroom pizza had perfect crust! More private areas would be perfect for intimate gatherings or small parties. Allie was very welcoming and attentive. Glad to have local place to go that’s little more upscale.

My husband and I decided to try this new restaurant, and we are so glad we did. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in. The ambience was clam and the decor were just a pleasure to look at.

The place looks great, elegant and classy, the service was great, our waitress was polite, accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious, our compliments to the chef, I had the skirt steak and the chimichurri sauce was on point. And last but not least the drinks were very good, my only recommendation is to change the ice cubes to a single big cube or a sphere to elevate the old fashioned. We will be going back soon, next we have to check out the “Speakeasy”.

We absolutely plan on going back– this is our nit-picky review with suggestions. It was our anniversary and they gave us a dessert on the house of our selection. That was very personal and nice. The tiramisu was really delicious.

After hearing many good things about this restaurant me and a couple of dance moms and myself decided to try it out since we’re from the area.. the food, our server Kim was amazing, and the food had me drooling. It’s perfect on the week night and we’ll be definitely coming back

Everything about the Roosevelt is so great, but the staff makes it even better! They were so kind and helpful. I threw a bridal shower in their speakeasy and it was everything i could have asked for. From the dim lighting, the cocktails, and the food being passed around. It was a perfect setting for an old time cocktail party. If you plan on having an event, ask for Alejandra! She helped us plan everything, so sweet, kind, and accommodating!! You get so many options for a great price, and even were nice enough to add things we wanted for no extra charge!! Everyone left the shower saying how wonderful and cool it was. Everyone had the best time. I 10/10 recommend having your next event at the Roosevelt or even just stopping by for a drink !

My girl and I went there for a nice evening out and I have mixed reviews. The front of the restaurant is very nice, beautiful bar area. The back of the restaurant is kind of bland, decoration-wise. There was a group there that was so loud that it made it hard to enjoy our night out and nobody on the staff did anything about it. The burger looks just like it did in the pictures, very nicely cooked too, just not blown away by the choice of arugula on the burger instead of a crispy lettuce of some kind. The fries were awesome, high marks there. Also, the chicken and waffles alone are worth repeated visits. The waffle is crispy and buttery, truly delicious. The wings are the best I’ve ever had. Sticky, charred, and juicy on the inside plus the flavor is amazing. Avoid the skirt steak! They pre-slice it for you like you’re a child, I got mine undercooked and cold (another review said the same thing), plus the chimichurri sauce is dark, bitter, and just all wrong. The worst I’ve seen and tasted. We also ordered gelato and sorbet. The mint leaf that was placed on my sorbet had yellow on it, which is bad. I ignored it, but then I encountered the next problem. They must have served both frozen desserts on hot plates, because they both melted super fast, didn’t make sense. I’m going back because I gotta check out the speakeasy AND get those wings again….but just the wings. Add a beer, a cocktail, and a couple of sodas and we paid $150 including %20 tip. I was upset, imagine paying $150 for that experience.

Newest Hotspot in East Rutherford! Food was out of this world. The decor was modern prohibition and their secret speak easy room was a great hang out space!

Had the absolute greatest experience here! From the moment we walked in, the hostess Cici was so friendly and welcoming. After showing us around we had a seat at the bar and were greeted by the kindest and most attentive bartenders. The Brick Roasted Chicken dish was out of this world. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Keith and he was such a wonderful and sincere person; unbeknownst to him, his staff had nothing but amazing things to say about him “behind his back” which is the truest compliment and example of great leadership. The DJ was playing great music. Will definitely be back
