The best viet food on Long Island. Everything is so good. We had the Pho, spring rolls, banh mi, and wings. Personal favorite was the wings. The sauce is a sweet garlicy soy sauce.

We’d eaten here before a few times and the food was ok, but this most recent visit was extremely disappointing. The food was lacking in authenticity and flavor. I’m not sure if they changed chefs or owners, but it is definitely not what it used to be and not worth the premium you pay for Vietnamese food on Long Island. Sad to say, but we would rather travel to Manhattan than eat here again.

It’s a little disappointing this last visit. I ordered Pho. It came with 3 little leafs of basil. I like a little more, but I was afraid to ask for it. Because I asked for cilantro, she said it’s an additional $1.50 for it. There was no cilantro in my soup. So now the original 1st Pho location from 2013 is now pushing me out to go somewhere else. It’s so, so disappointing.

Food is hot but not enough. Meat comes in the bowl already cooked which isn’t correct. Utensils must be requested. No A/C so it was hot which is normally fine. Flavor was only okay,

Clean, nice, small Vietnamese place. When seated you are encouraged to scan the bar code for the menu and order through there. I was feeling a little under the weather, and you know what they say, pho helps with that. So I ended up going with the traditional Pho Bo. Comes with sliced beef, beef brisket & meatballs (opted out the meatballs). Red onions & scallions on top. Bean sprouts, basil, jalapeños & wedge of lime on the side. The broth does have a very strong beefy flavor so if that’s not your thing then maybe consider trying something else. I personally enjoyed my meal, especially with the siracha on the side. All the ingredients complimented each other & came together to create wonderful flavors. You get spicy & fresh at the same time. Now I did also get to try the Tan Binh chicken wings. Even though they were glazed with a hot chili sauce they remained crispy. They were one of the best non-american traditional wings I’ve had. You do pay on your phone as well. It seems like more contactless service is implemented in this spot. Which personally I like interaction but hey to each there own. Understandable.

I went around 3pm on a Sunday and had no trouble getting a seat. I got an xl beef and left feeling full, but I think that was mainly cause of the spring rolls I split. Didn’t feel there was a ton of meat in the pho especially for almost 17$. I’ve been here a few times and I do enjoy the food, but kind of feel like the portions are kind of small.

3.5 stars. We visited on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and the place was packed. The restaurant is on the smallish side and the décor is pretty basic. Here’s what we ordered:

The OG location. Their second is in Syosset, has a larger menu and bigger dining room, as well as a bar. I’ve been here several times, both locations and I love it. The prices are fair for Long Island since it’s very hard to find Vietnamese food and and sometimes Flushing/Chinatown is just too far of a drive. It’s still cheap though compared to other dinner spots and the food is great. Hits the spot if you’re craving Vietnamese and don’t want to drive out to Queens or the city. Their spring rolls are the best! Even the vegetarian ones are good. I always take a banh mi to go to have for a late night snack or lunch the next day. The owner is also super nice -he remembers you too, which is a nice touch for a restaurant- and the staff is great. Small restaurant but they do an excellent job.

Way overpriced for the food quality and small portion sizes. Place inside is so cramped and too hot to stay in. Waitress is also so rude, never smiles and has no manners. Wish I never spent my money here. Go to the spot next door instead.
