A nice small town eatery that serves good food. Staff were cordial, but seemed to focus more on locals. Ate here twice—first ordering our usual eggs, bacon hash brown, english muffin, then following up with lunch salads on a different day. The breakfast was good, eggs cooked well, hash browns crispy, english muffin (with jam and peanut butter on the side) really good and 3 small strips of bacon somewhat thin and a few limp as well. The salads on our second visit (taco salad and chicken salad) were “meh”… nothing remarkable. We have found, so far, that this is probably the best “breakfast restaurant” within a 50 mile radius of Montevideo.

The remodel was great and the place looks amazing. Food is always good and our usual waitress Barb is amazing! My only complaint is the women’s bathroom is awkward to use. The door swings inward in what feel like the wrong direction and it’s already a small space. It would probably be better suited to a one toilet bathroom. They do have a changing station though in the bathroom so that is nice.

I don’t always read other peoples posts to decide why I do or do not choose a certain restaurant. I sit here and wonder how this restaurant only has three stars. I know they have their bad days I’m sure. This apparently was not one of them! They were not super busy of course, but our service was wonderful, our waitress was delightful, coffee was delicious, & breakfast was hot.

Very busy Sunday afternoon. Appreciated the sign on the door alerting to an hour wait for food. We had time so that’s what we did…wait patiently as we seen plates of piping hot food being delivered about the place. The wait staff did a great job and were very hard working.

If u want a nice family/friends/employee mtg/business mtg, this is the place! It was nice to get a HOT meal for a change vs the cold, expensive, greasey, smashed together, supposed to be food at the chain places. Let me tell u about the prices! The prices fit the portion size!
