Stopped in for a bite and drinks and heard they had live music. Was visiting from NJ for a Wedding the following night. What a blast we had!!! Awesome venue! We loved the 80’s band The Reagan Years!!! Great place!!!

Can be kinda a gritty place on the weekend at night, but I have lots of good memories here. I’ve been here mostly for the bar which is decent rather than food. For the one time I got the food it is overpriced, but tasty. Got 2 steak birria tacos for $15. They were good, but there is pretty much no taco I would knowingly pay more than $5 for each. $7.50 per taco is ridiculous. Even in DC that would be a crazy price. Alternatively the wings are a very good price on Wednesday. Overall, still recommend the place highly for the bar/dancing experience

It’s a pub located in the historical district of Leonardtown. There’s a full bar and multiple TV’s with sports playing. They keep it very dark inside. Seems like it thrives for the night life scene. The waitress was very nice and helpful. The food was a let down. The pizza had a cheese whiz sauce. Reminded me when I was a kid and would pillage the pantry for ingredients to make something. Also, the soup tasted like it came out of a can. I don’t like writing bad reviews, but the food isn’t deserving; not for that price.

Had dinner and then saw the Reagan Years play in the theatre showroom and was impressed by the venue and had a really good time.

My coworker and I flew from Atlanta, GA for a business trip. We are brand new to this town and decided to try out a new restaurant. We were seated immediately, which was great but we found out the kitchen was under repair. The menu option was slim to none but we decided to stay and enjoy trivia night. We were dissatisfied with our order, so we decided to pay and leave to go to another restaurant down the street. The waitress gave us our receipts, we paid using the QR code WHICH IS LISTED ON THE RECEIPT. Then, we leave and all we hear is “AY” from a distance.. we proceeded to walk because again we are in a new town. We get to the new restaurant and we were seated. All of a sudden the waitress and the cook appeared from REX and said oh you all didn’t pay. Basically stated that we dined and ditched. They chased us down and didn’t think to look at the computer to see if we paid. Mind you there were customers at both restaurants listening to this nonsense! The manager did not apologize! I felt humiliated and discriminated towards. I called and left a voicemail for the manager. Not only do I want all of my money back including the tip I left, I would like an apology. I’ve never been experience this before. I’d never go back. I wouldn’t recommend it all at. This is how you treat your customers? Or just your black customers?? I really want to know. Mind you the waitress was new, I give her that but the employees that chased us down were not new and you all should no better. No one thought, “hey, let me check the system.. we do give our customers the option to pay online” no you all just decided to chase us down to a new restaurant and straight humiliate us in a new town. We are far away from home and we experienced this horrific night. It literally ruin our night. We lost our appetite and just eat a little at the new restaurant and went back to our hotel. I would’ve stayed around to talk to the manager last night but I have an early flight. Here is some advice REX: make sure your staff is on the same page.

The Rex was a fine experience. We only had drinks, so cannot comment on the food. I think that staff were overwhelmed when we were there – it was very busy. We ended up having to stand at a bar in the room off to the side because there were no seats, so it wasn’t super appealing to linger. Their beer selection at that bar was limited, and they would only serve in plastic cups which were not as big as a glass but we were still charged as though they were. It seemed to be a popular place, but the vibe wasn’t quite right for us – at least not that evening.

First and last time. Came for an event and ate at the front bar area beforehand. I understand being busy before an event, but busy is one thing. Understaffed and incompetent is something different. Took forever to get our orders. Food at the table came out at all different times even thought most of us ordered the same thing, and drinks came way after. I asked when I first arrived if it would be better to order in the back part of the venue where the event was and was told probably not because it would take too long. How ironic. Also, food was overpriced. $16 for two underwhelming “tacos.” If you’re coming here for an event, eat and pre-game somewhere else.

Advertised on google AND on the front door that they’re open at 11am on fridays to sundays. We showed up at 11:10 on a Sunday and it was not open!! There were also a bunch of other people waiting at the front door. Others thought it was 11:30am and some guy then came to us and said they don’t open til 1pm??? So confusing! Please make it clear about your hours !! We were excited to try this place for the first time, too bad we couldn’t.

The night started a bit bad with someone taking our reserved table. But the service was great, and the food was very good solid 4 stars. What me and my wife were really impressed with was the music the live music was great and definitely ups this place to a 5 stars.

I’m staying in town for a couple of days, and when I looked online for a dinner spot this seemed like a neat place to check out. Unfortunately, the experience what not what I was hoping for it to be. When I showed up, I was told that, as a single diner, the only place I could sit was outside because everything inside was reserved for people playing trivia. Once I sat down outside, it took over 10 minutes before anyone came over to give me a menu or get my drink order. At one point I asked if I could turn on the fire pit in the center of the table because it was getting cold, but I was told no because there was no propane. I ordered a burger and it took over 45 minutes for my food to come out of the kitchen. I got to the point where I just asked for it to be wrapped up to go and, again, trivia was used as the excuse for the food taking so long. When I finally did get my food I wasn’t offered any plasticware or a bag to carry it. Once I finally got back to my hotel and ate, the food tasted great (which is why I’m not giving a 1-star rating). But the level of service I received and the use of “trivia” as the excuse will probably keep me from trying this place again.
