The views of the Potomac are stunning. The food and service were great. We did the tasting menu and had a few cocktails with the menu and everything was delicious. The staff was super friendly and my boyfriend was able to see part of the garden. Super cool experience and definitely something to try!

The progression menu was very innovative and enjoyable except that the pork cuts were so full of gristle that we could hardly cut them, let alone chew. There was an extended wait for the pork dish to be delivered, so I wonder if they ran out of the good cuts? On the plus side, the weather was gorgeous, which made the outdoor seating very pleasant.

Reservations need to be made online in advance, and the food is very tasty and fresh. A little bit salty. Service is very good and very prompt. It is a place that I would recommend other friends to come!

Fantastic dining experience. 2 minutes away from my home, can’t wait to join the amazing team again soon. Leaving it a surprise till it is in front of you is the way to go.

I had a phenomenal meal and experience at The Restaurant at Patowmack. As a solo diner, the staff took exceptional care of me and ensured that my experience met expectations. I chose to dine indoors and had a gorgeous open-door view of the valley and river where I watched the sky change from afternoon to evening. The staff was both discreetly (when I was eating) and actively attentive to my experience. My water glass was never less than half full. Each course was well-explained to me and identified the connection to the farm. The food was beautifully presented and each bite was delicious. It was true to the early-spring season. I highly recommend this restaurant and am thankful to Ivan, Eddie, Alex, Chef Vincent, and the whole staff for making me feel welcomed and certainly well-fed.

Went here for a special event recently. The view was spectacular. The staff was amazing – at no time did I feel talked down to or dismissed, as some higher end restaurants do. The food was plentiful, though heavy on the salt for every course save for dessert. Overall, great stuff – but average food.

I took my sister here a few weeks ago for her Birthday and we had a great time. From start to finish the whole event and experience was classy and tasteful. During the call in which they confirmed our reservation they asked a couple of questions – any food allergies and were we celebrating anything – the former because it’s a fixed menu I assume in the latter to customize the experience for their guests.

I love a great foodie experience. Especially at a place that serves locally sourced ingredients. You pay for a fixed menu (which is always changing to adjust to the season). You can also do the drink pairing which normally I would have done but opted out due to my wine tasting beforehand (at another nearby location). The food was tasty and I felt the dishes that came out after each one complimented each other well. The butter at the beginning was amazing! The egg dish was so wonderfully creative. I didn’t give it 5 stars because for the concept, I would have hoped each dish was explained in a bit more detail (i.e. more about each plate, there is a reason why the chef decided to make each dish with these specific local ingredients, more of this background would be nice). Also the timing between each dish took a while. Again, because of the concept and price, I do pay attention to these things. BUT overall, the food was great, location was awesome. Definitely perfect for a date night! Super intimate. I would recommend going to a nearby vineyard beforehand for a quick tasting.
