The Ram Drive-In needs a better way to serve the drive-in customer. If a car Infront of you in the drive through is taking too long customers are inconvenienced. On the positive side, the Huckleberry Milkshakes are amazing.

The last time we went there, it happened to be the same day that many locals had to evacuate their homes due to a wildfire. The dining room was unusually crowded for that time. It was around 8:15 in the evening. The food was good, but a few things concerned me. A staff member went directly from the cash handling to food handling, no hand washing in between.

This place used to be one of the BEST places to eat at between Riverside and Deer Park, but it has gone way downhill recently. I went in yesterday to get a milkshake with my mom and some onion rings. We ordered 2 large milkshakes and a regular onion ring, and when we got our receipt, we noticed it didn’t say onion rings. So we asked one of the ladies if they got the onion rings on there, and she replied with “the onion rings take longer to cook”. Ok, that’s not what I asked… So I replied “we were just wondering because we didn’t see it on the receipt, I’m sorry” she then replies “that’s just the drink order receipt”. Well, I’m sorry I didn’t know that. I just wanted to make sure we weren’t standing here for no reason waiting for nothing. While we were waiting for the onion rings, I noticed how dirty everything was. Ice cream all down the front of all the machines, ice cream cones behind the machines (as far as I could see) and ice cream cones just smashed up everywhere. I wonder how that place passes the Health Department codes. I’m really sad this place has gone so downhill, and a bunch of teenagers work there with bad attitudes, being rude to customers for simple questions.

We stop by every time we pass through going north or coming back, and always get the huckleberry cones they are so worth the stop. Great taste, and price for the size. My only complaint is how incredibly slow the drive- thru is. Doesn’t matter what we order it’s soooooo slow. We love the ice cream though, so we keep going back!

Sign in the drive through said it would be faster to order ice cream inside. The line inside was SUPER long so I found that the drive through was actually faster. Milkshakes were super yummy!

Huckleberry ice cream!! Best ice cream I’ve ever had. My son had a onion burger and said it was really good. It was clean and service was friendly. We live 7 hours away in another state. We stop by the Ram every time we are in town.

Never going back. After being in drive thru for half hour and told to pull around. We then waited another 20 minutes before going in and told they had our food. On way out noticed we were missing fries and asked for them. Was told it would be a minute which I was ok with. Then proceeded to watch them serve up more fries then told it would be another minute for more. At that point i walked out. It is such a simple thing I asked for and was ignored. Burgers ended up cold after sitting inside without anyone bringing them out after being asked to pull around. Which I do not know why because the next car did not get their food for 5 or 10 minutes. I get its busy and I am patient but 1 hr total to get cold burgers and not fully what we ordered. I have even been there when it’s slow and it still takes forever.

The lady who helped us at the counter was rude and could tell she doesn’t like her job. As we were waiting on our order she was standing there eating and licking her fingers! No washing after or even a napkin! I was disgusted! The food isn’t that great. Zips is better! Their strawberry milk shake is powder that she couldn’t even mix in very well. Onion rings were soggy and a mushy mess! 100% disappointment! Would not recommend whatsoever!

I’ve been going to The Ram since the 90s and have many core memories there. I would love to give 5 stars because the quality and quantity of the food and the prices are ones that definitely cant be beat at any other fast food restaurant around. My 3 star review is based solely on the condition of the inside, which is absolutely disgusting. The booths were updated not too long ago but the condition of them is easily overlooked with how gross the rest of the restaurant is. I’m talking icecream on the ceiling, ketchup splattered across the front side of the ordering counter, grease dripping down what you can see of the counters/cold tables in the kitchen, ect… and that’s not just after a busy rush. I’ve been eyeballing the same ice cream and ketchup splatters the last few times I’ve been in there. The rest of the restaurant definitely needs updating but it wouldn’t be so bad if it was at least clean. If you decide to get food from The Ram, do yourself a favor and go through the drive thru… otherwise you might decide to never eat there again.
