The RailYard is a locally owned, high-end tavern in a unique environment. We serve handcrafted food & cocktails, stand-out homespun milkshakes and the ‘best burger in town!’ With over 30 beers on tap, we proudly feature local and regional breweries in addition to craft ciders and domestic favorites.
Weekly events include a brunch every Saturday & Sunday with live music on Sunday and themed trivia on Thursday nights. Our outdoor dining area is pet-friendly and we welcome families of all kinds to an experience unlike anything else!

During my first visit I odered the shrimp gouda macaroni and cheese. It was just okay. The shrimp were well seasoned but the mac was bland. I also had the brownie desert. I believe it was called the Last Stop skillet brownie with vanilla ice cream. That was very good! My husband ordered the Buffalo wings and they were good as well. I wish I could remember the name of the shake my kid ordered but she didn’t really care for it. It had raspberry in it and donuts on top. It was pretty tho.

Living in Virginia, I don’t eat in West Virginia much, but I can say without a doubt that the Railyard has the best burgers in the entire state! A group of us were in town for a few days. We had dinner here and it was outstanding. Our waitress was great, she even suggested a drink that I really enjoyed. The burgers were top notch. I had the burger of the month and it did not disappoint. Our group even came back a few days later to try out their specialty milkshakes and were again very impressed. If you are anywhere nearby take the time to go.

First time visiting The Rail Yard. I was not disappointed. Food is a little pricey, but they had a buy one get one half priced deal, so it wasn’t too bad. Burgers are more than enough food as well as the sides that come with them. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend a visit.

Makayla was the best waitress ever. She was so attentive and had so many good recommendations. I had the lemon drop martini, devil Anse dip(cheesy dip) and a fried green tomato blt. All the food was amazing. Thanks Railyard for being open and serving terrific food when most restaurants in the area are closed on Tuesdays.

Oh this food was fantastic! I ordered the fried green tomato sandwich and loved it. My issues with it were that there were only 2 total (pretty small) tomatoes on the whole sandwich and it really just wasn’t enough. The bun was also so saturated in butter or oil it was like dripping off my sandwich. Otherwise really great though. It also took a long time to get served. But the general feel to the place was laid back and seemed fun. Seems like a good idea to get there early as it was packed by the time we left!

Ordered the Iron Mike. It’s on texas toast and supposed to have smoked brisket. It came with what looked like shaved beef jerky. Two patties on the burger were about the size of a mcdouble. In my opinion, for the price of this place, the bread shouldn’t be bigger than the meat. I’ll not give them any more of my money. 2 people 92 dollars
