They have good food. I personally think it was better before it reopened. But they do have a nice dining area with new tables and actual tablecloths. They had a band playing in the outside section, that was pretty cool. My two biggest disappointments were 1. No complimentary shrimp dip. And 2. And most disappointing of all is that they changed the shrimp dip recipe. Nowhere near as good as it once was. It’s like a paste now. I liked being able to tell when I had a shrimp on my cracker. But it is what it is.

Last night we went to The Railhouse for a birthday dinner. We had the Shrimp Dip to start – excellent with a nice kick to it. Then, I had the absolutely, delicious, very well priced shrimp and grits. The other two people that dined in our group had the grilled chicken – they both loved it. We finished with the brownie with ice cream. The entire meal was fabulous. The service was perfect…not too fast, not too slow. The place looked nice for the holidays and their New Year’s Eve Party.

Not fancy by any means, but the service and food are very good. We’ve dined here many times and have not been disappointed. Friendly staff and if you become a regular, you are always greeted with a smile and “How have you been”. They need to change the menu as the entrees are getting old and the prices have increased. They need more ‘finger food’ and draft beer selections as they can cater to the employees of ZF and the other manufacturers nearby. We will continue to have lunch and dinner here.

George Anne Jones and I came here on a Friday evening. A Christmas party was being held in the dining area next to the main area. Very busy and short staffed, but extremely friendly and accommodating. I ordered a ribeye medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. George Anne had fried oysters and I was able to sample a couple. I would highly recommend either plate. It doesn’t hurt that they have Bourbon Barrel Beer from Lexington, KY on tap. A very nice evening.

Well, I read the reviews before I went but decided to try it for myself. We waited at the door for a few minutes before someone came to seat us. We sat for a few before our drink order was taken. I wanted the salmon but they were out of that, the filet, and chips. I settled for the catfish and it was super greasy. My husband ordered the ribeye & it was much more fatty than a ribeye normally is. He kept having to spit it out because when he would chew a piece, I could hear a crunching sound. They replaced it for something else (which he had to wait about 20 minutes and at that point, he was no longer hungry). The sides (fried okra, collard greens, cheese grits) were decent. Service wasn’t too bad after our order was taken. Overall, this was not a good experience and we will not be going back.

I received a gift certificate in the mail for my birthday and we went here on that day, August 3rd, and had a simply amazing meal. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. It was one of the best birthday meals I ever had. I ordered the filet mignon medium rare and it was PERFECT! The atmosphere was cozy and warm, I will be back for next year’s birthday but will also be bringing my relatives that are coming to visit next month for a great meal while they’re here.

Stopped by for lunch today. Wish we had done so sooner. Had a great meal and met some of the wonderful and friendly staff. Reasonably priced with a nice selection of burgers, sandwiches and entrees. Looking forward to going back for dinner soon!

Loved the place. Not many good restaurants with a bar in this area. People were very nice . Good bar prices and the food was good as well. They also deliver which is a big plus since all we get delivered is normal pizza. Nice have a full menu delivered.

We were excited to try it reopened under new management. Sadly the burgers and steaks were all over cooked. It’s not kid friendly and is over priced for the quality of food and service. The appetizers were good and the fries were good. unfortunately I doubt we will return for the fries.
