Amazing small town bar. Me and my family go at least once a week. The food is so delicious and the service is beyond amazing. Husband loves the tacos and chicken tenders, 7 year old loves the shrimp and I love the specials. There’s always something for everyone.

Absolutely love the small town feel of this place. They run a smoker out back and they cook all of the BBQ items fresh. So if you like good BBQ they’ll have a few things to go along with the live music almost every Saturday night!

We had pork, chicken, brisket, Meatballs, fries, onion rings & cheese curds. Food was great, will go back. Service was awesome considering 1 person was bartending, waitressing and cooking.

Traveled from S. Texas to Minnesota for business. A friend from work recommended The R Bar so I went and loved it. Atmosphere was awesome and everyone inside was over the top friendly. Had the Brisket Sandwich and coleslaw and both were off the charts. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area. It is definitely on my “to do list” for every future visit to MN!

The brisket sandwich was good. They have a delicious rub on it, and the bbq sauce on the side was a great addition. The house cut fries add to the feel of a bbq style kitchen.
