The location is not far off of I-4 and has a great country feel. There are three picnic tables out front but it looks like most folks swing by for take out. The food was fine and the shakes were tasty. Currently with inflation eating out is expensive and I found the prices put a damper on the experience. If we had done without the milkshakes it would have been better they are quite expensive for the serving size. The service was fast and friendly. Overall a great pitstop for our travels between Tampa and Orlando.

So we pass this place every day just about and finally decided to stop by and give it a try. We had the beef tacos and the chicken tacos. We also did an order for popcorn shrimp and the bacon bbq fire burger. Each meal comes with fries and let’s just say we have enough for dinner. We also ordered a root beer shake and Pina colada shake amazing it’s something different. The sauce was placed on the side and the young lady gave us a heads up on the sauce being very spicy and having ghost pepper in it. Lucky for me I love spicy. We will be back for more. I have no complaints I would suggest when u do sauce on the side a half of cup will be enough (sorry I hate to waste)

This place is amazing!!! The food was awesome, and the service was fantastic. Everyone (even the people in line) was so friendly and really enjoyed just slowing down and enjoying time together. 100% recommend getting anything from here. Everything we had was great.

Tried the famois Birria Tacos for the first time, and I’ve never had a better taco in my whole life, hands down. The tacos, fries, and mac n cheese bites were great. I’m so glad I found this little hole in the wall. DEFINITELY will be coming back with friends and family.

Visited the Purple Pit Stop for the first time and had the shrimp and fries. Food was made to order, hot, crispy. Yummy loved the hot food. My daughter had the bacon burger and milkshake, truly enjoyed it. The burger was big, fresh and delicious as well. Will definitely visit again, highly recommended.

OMG everything about this place is amazing!! Found it cutting through the central part of Florida.. we will definitely detour and make a special trip back through here just to get everything we got again!! The flavor of all the food was amazing and so tasty!! That purple shake was sooooo yummy!!

Great quality, fresh food! Why would you even consider stopping at a low level fast food chain when you can come to the Purple Pit. Only 5 minutes from I-4. Glad I decided to escape traffic and end up here! Very impressed.

Wow!!!! Verrrrrry good tacos!!! Alway past this place going to and from work and decided to try it out today. I was shocked/pleasantly surprised when I opened the plate and saw my food. Presentation and portion sizes were great right off the top! Alot of places load you up to compensate for the flavor of the food but the flavors in this stuff were great!! I’ll definitely be back. Staff was great , very hospitable and attentive. Prices are fair so be sure to tip these guys. Not many small places with good service left to eat at these days. 10/10 for this place.
