Both chicken specials that were ordered were any but special. Chicken was dry canned green beans were gross. The fake potatoes were the best part. 2 out of the six meals had hair in the food, and when we were first seated, I had to ask for a fresh pitcher of water because a fly was floating in it. The prime is a bought precooked to rare. I can tell. Overall, it was very disappointing and probably won’t return anytime soon. Cannot recommend anything that was ordered by our party.

Maybe it was an off day for the cook, but the prime rib had no flavor. It was tender, but the seasoning was not there for any of our prime (party of 4 three of us ordered the prime rib). I should have ordered the fried chicken, which was delicious. We were well attended to by our waitress.

Portion sizes were horrible!Ordered 2 appetizers $7.50ea onion ring,cheese curd,family of six we each got one onion ring. total of 13 cheese curds, we all had burgers the burger patties were very small 3 were cooked over well done other 3 were cooked medium the hostess asked how was everything well as long as your asking I told her absolutely horrible!!! Told her about issues she responded with saying McDonald’s fish sandwich is small too, but they don’t charge $12 for their better fish sandwich!! My server was agreeing with me about the portion sizes in front of the hostess . My total bill was $117xx she talked to owner and agreed to take $20 off my bill which she still charged me $106xx? Of course they couldn’t even charge me correctly didn’t even try to correct the the refund I just wanted to leave I’ll take any fast food place over the prime (restaurant) any day!! If passing through keep driving to next eating place!!! I will never return to the prime!! service was good though

I’m a local and me and my family have been to this restaurant multiple times and always have good service but there have been two separate incidents with one of the waitresses named Stacy who has been absolutely horrendous with her service. I work in the service industry so I am a very patient understanding person, but when there is a server who is constantly being rude for no reason other then being busy that is wrong. Last time we ordered food there she apparently wrote it down wrong because when she brought it out to us she scooped up French fries with her bare hands from one plate onto my 4 year old sons plate. It was disgusting, I honestly have no words for how terrible service she gave us. It’s an embarrassment to this community.

2nd visit with the same experience. Our dark haired server rudely REFUSES to allow anyone to open the shades to let light in and makes everyone eat in a dark interior room with no windows. We thought this was a fluke on our first visit but the same thing happened on our return. When we asked again if we could just partially open one of the shades, she said, “No. I have to work and it will get too hot.” (It was 67 and cloudy while we were there. Even cooler in the dining room.) Evidently her work experience is more important than everyone else’s dining experience. Add the mediocre food to this and we don’t see a reason to ever try a third visit. Glad we’ll have a new dining option in Trego starting this fall. Not recommended. ✅
