Lots of hype behind The Premier Chef after going viral on Instagram and TikTock! Premier Chef is very pricey $25 for beef rib plate with two sides and $23 for brisket with two sides. The sides Mac Cheese and Green beans were awful. Beef Ribs and Brisket fell off the bone. The orange sauce on the chicken and beef ribs made the food taste much better.

I ordered meats only. I wasn’t expecting that sauce to be on everything but, once I wiped it all off the wings and turkey leg were good. I also prefer my turkey leg to stay on the bone. I’d recommend letting customer’s know about the sauce and leaving the meat on the bone. People from the south love the bone.

Sir… This food was amazing. I posted my thoughts on IG but wanted to dropped them here… yall… this food is so delicious. I loved the smoky flavor throughout each and every side dish and protein option. I had the beef ribs, 1/2 chicken and shrimp dishes and from that had a variation of all the sides. My mom and I split the meals over 2 days tbh it was so much. The mac & cheese looks different but tastes heavenly. The beans and such were good. My only dislike was the consistency of the potato salad. Was not bad just not good. Maybe it was the type of potato??? Idk. They were chunky. I like more evenly diced and smaller. NOT THAT IT CHANGED MY RATING… it was still 5 star. I liked how fast I got my orders. Even came back to grab a friend’s order shortly after and what seemed like a long line did not equal a long wait. Literally in and out. He took the time to pose for my review also which was cool. In between countless orders. Everyone was kind and it was nice seeing fellow community folks lining up to support. I know the other reviews don’t give good ratings… but honestly they could not have had the same food I ate. If you like bbq; if you like homely hearty good eating THE PREMIERE CHEF is the place to be. PLUS… he drives a cool a** red car…(which is why I spotted him at the Chef Store) so you know he has taste!Plus he puts his money where his BBQ is!!! Lol Check him out and tell him Luvleeh sent ya!!! Then come back here and drop a line!!!! #QueenCityBBQDoneRight

Portions are very little for the price. I went with the brisket meat only and turkey leg meat only plates. I saw the pics on line the sides weren’t plentiful and decided against them. The brisket along with the sauce on it was very flavorful. The turkey leg plate was aight. Based on the price and portion size, I won’t be back. There are many other establishments that offer good food for less with much much healthier sized Portions. Support black owned businesses and at times feel cheated.

I went here yesterday after driving 2 hours and waiting in 37 degrees weather. Just to receive some burnt chicken no barbecue sauce on the ribs a spoonful of macaroni and cheese and some half cook potatoes in the potato salad all of this for $25. What he has posted on his page is not what was in that box. After trying to contact this person I didn’t receive any phone calls. I was told to come back in the store to have the food replace but at this point after driving two hours still had to drive two hours back home and waiting for almost an hour in the line I think not, but it’s OK $25 of my hard earned money went to my dog for him to eat. People please check your food before you leave here.

The Premiere Chef, more like the BBQ King because this food is legit the most delicious BBQ I’ve ever had! I am a return customer and have tasted almost everything on the menu; my favs would have to be the beef ribs with his secret golden sauce, the mac and cheese is also absolutely divine. I have introduced my family to his food, as he catered two events this past summer and he received rave reviews.

Holy cow this food is so good. Not sure why people in other reviews are complaining about the portion sizes. It’s a lot of food! Never had a turkey leg this tender. Will definitely be back.

I’m only giving them 3 stars because of the portions, I don’t know if they’re trying to make sure the sides last for the whole night or what, but that’s not it. Also the yams were sour, other than that the turkey leg, chicken wings, and mac was good. I hope they work on the portions when it comes to the sides I spent $25 I atleast want my moneys worth.

Came for the beef ribs, which are hard to find. It was already pulled from the bone, which was fine. I liked the amount of smoke/char and all the meat (we had 4 plates) was well cooked. It’s a take-out only establishment, but they take credit cards. Potato salad was the star side. I would suggest having a cooler with water/soda as well. We drove from across town, and taking it home cold was not in the cards. I also would have preferred some home-made corn bread/muffins over the store-bought rolls. Overall great food, price is a bit high — but I hope that helps them land a location with seating in the future.
