Often stop in here especially for lunch and the deviled eggs are a must have at every visit. Our server was prompt, funny and delightful during our visit. We got to meet some tourists out on Pearl Street and gave them a recommendation for the post and they were thrilled to try it out and get the suggestion. The roasted chicken with arugula and cucumber was super tasty.

We ducked into The Post Chicken and Beer when thunderstorms threatened. Even though 2 out of 4 of us were vegan (and it’s a chicken place) they had delicious vegan options available. Our kids ordered the deviled eggs which they said were excellent. My son ordered the original cheeseburger which he said was delicious. I ordered the “tracksuit veggie bowl” (love the name lol) which was fantastic and my husband and daughter ordered the yoga pants salad. It didn’t come with the quinoa since they had just cooked a fresh batch and it needed time to cook down, so they just gave them more kale instead and my daughter and husband were happy. They said it was good. My daughter also got a side of mashed potatoes and gravy and she liked it. The service was a bit slow, but everyone was nice. We would definitely eat here again

This is a cool little place. Not amazing but service was good and the food was good. The outdoor seating was really nice. Maybe a little tight for a group of 6 but the location is pretty great.

Wow! What a great evening with my family at The Post. We started with the Garlic Mojo Baked Crackerjax Oysters and everyone at the table would recommend them to their best friend! Many had the tenders with a wide range of dipping sauces. I personally had the chicken and waffles with syrup, cherry chutney, and gravy and I was in heaven. The service was attentive, we left with recommendations for us out of towners to hike, and Garrett walked us out, happy and full! I highly recommend The Post for the best fried chicken that time has ever known!!!

$18 for a ****ton of ice! I’m not impressed with the food either: super dry fish and chicken. First visit tonight & will absolutely never come here again, especially with so many superior choices nearby. Management did not deescalate and really just made it worse.

Great service (Tori rocks!). Food was delightful. Ambience i.s nice. Change the sweet butter to salted butter for the cheese biscuits. Overall, very good and we will visit again.

The fact that these chicken tenders are $1 more than the chicken sandwich yet alone $17.99 is absolutely ridiculous. Three small tenders and a coleslaw for $17.99 when the chicken sandwich has literally three times the food on the plate and is a dollar less. Why am I leaving hungry after spending $18 on a plate of chicken? The reasonable expectation would be at least three normal sized tenders for that much money. Ridiculous.

AWESOMENESS!! We ate here July 22, 2023. Loved the chicken and waffles, deviled eggs, collard greens, And oh those beets &sweets, yum. The atmosphere was so fun and relaxing. Friends with us from Illinois commented that the fried cauliflower was top-notch! They also had the beer tasting and really liked the Elkhorn beer. Service was Superb even though the restaurant was Very Busy! Keep up the Greatness Garrett AND Crew!!!

Inconsistent, overpriced, lackluster customer service. My partner and I used to come in once a month to experience the Nashville hot chicken sandwich that we grew to love while living in Nashville, TN. We have been loyal customers since 2020 when we first tried the amazing Post chicken sandwiches, Nashville hot. However, over the years, the consistency has been lacking, and our recent visit was extremely disappointing.

Uniquely and truly spectacular. The Nashville Hot half chicken was the the perfect level of spicy that built as I ate. The added bonus is the fried chicken is GF!!!! Lots of gluten-free sides, as well!
