Very helpful and friendly staff. The building is beautiful and centrally located. My gf and I were staying here for a concert at the sylvee. Only a 8 minute Uber.

The Post has the most! My not-so-secret getaway lunch spot. It’s nice to enjoy quality food with quality service. Last time, I had the Turkey Cobb salad that was loaded with fresh and delicious veggies, turkey, egg, bacon, and blue cheese! Everything is prepared so beautifully. It always feels like the kitchen is making food only for you.

The Post restaurant was one of our favorite parts about staying at the Best Western Premier Park Hotel. The restaurant was open and bright, with a great menu selection. Our food was delicious for dinner and the following breakfast, as were the beverages. We really loved the view of the capitol building from our giant window.

We tried several restaurants on a busy Saturday night with no luck. Stumbled upon this place and it was pretty empty. Not sure why because the food was solid and the service was great. I feel like this place is underrated. Would recommend but they def need a drink menu.

The Post is a terrific place to host (and dazzle) your nearest and dearest. We had a wonderful day-before-the-wedding, welcome appetizer and open bar event for our family and friends, and they raved about it! We were able to reserve a few tables, cater as much food as we wanted, and distribute wristbands so our guests could add drinks to our tab. Bharath (director of catering) was a joy to work with (professional, responsive, helpful) and there was no food/bev minimum, which seems unheard of is such a prime capitol-adjacent location. Highly recommended! And we’ll certainly be back for a future event.

This is a cool spot. We stopped in to hit happy hour, got sliders, wings and ahi tacos. All very tasty, of course small portions but only $5 each. Got bogo draft beers ad well. Really cool space with a great view of the Capitol. Great service.

I was in town for a confrence and looked online when I found The Post. I viewed the online menu and saw the veggie wrap, and said Yes! That’s it. A 5 minute walk and when I entered I was greated like an old friend. I decided to ask what the soup was, seeing others eating in delight. New England clam chowder, the bar manager says. I am in! I got a bowl and was so full I couldn’t eat my wrap. (I am eating that now for dinner and yumm!!!). Fresh, filling, made with care and love.

Upon entering the establishment, it was very clear that we weren’t welcome. No employee nor sign indicated if we were allowed to sit, or if we had to wait to be helped? Weird. We opted to sit at the bar to order food as we were finally instructed to do by the bartender after having asked, but he couldn’t have been any more displeased with our doing so. Maybe he was having a bad day, but every interaction we had was unpleasant and, frankly, rude. I thanked him repeatedly throughout our meal for bringing our drinks, salads, entrees etc, and he ignored me EVERY single time. Though, when another patron approached the bar unsure of what to order, he was friendly and willing to help. Again, weird. Essentially, he made a point to say as few words to us as possible and, when I politely asked for the check, he literally tossed, almost slapping the bill folder at the counter near me, saying nothing. I regret tipping. We will not be back.

Um, it looks fancier than it is. Had a large party so we got lots of dish varieties; none of them were good. The description of the dishes is not accurate to what gets delivered. It looked like microwave food, no seasoning, and they don’t have professional bartenders for the bar that know basic cocktails. We had to awkwardly eat it anyway because it was a business dinner…
