Amazing place! I don’t regret walking into there. To start, it was so easy to get into, and the service was so fast! Also the food was delectable. I got the Summer Salad which was the perfect combo of sweet and savory, the truffle fries which had the best truffle I’ve tasted, my lemonade had the perfect amount of tanginess, and last but not least the fried Oreos, they were so filling and creamy, I wasn’t expecting what I got when they delivered the Oreos to me. They looked like an ice cream sundae but Oreo style. The atmosphere is quite comfortable with easy access to the door, and nice, fun background music and cool photos! I would give The Port a 4/5.

We were not so thrilled when we first got there as the place only employed a handful of teens. However we were pleasantly surprised by how professional they were. We were able to have the special oyster at $1 a piece and they tasted good. The cocktails were absolutely well made and delicious. Overall we had a great time. Everything came out to our liking and more. Our waitress was very nice, diligent and efficient. We will visit again soon.

Very rude staff members. Disrespectful. The drinks were average at best. The bartender NEVER mentioned last call. My gf and I were standing near-by the bar when one of the employees literally came and snatched the drink out of my hand, another employee forcefully grabbed the drink out of my girlfriend’s hand and we were told to get out. I politely asked what the reason was for us being singled out and asked to leave, the the two ‘bouncers’ one tall skinny Bulgarian guy and a short Mexican looking guy with a goatee beard literally got right on my face, said some disrespectful racial comments against myself and my significant other and told us to just get out. I asked for my credit card that was still behind the bar and I was denied. We were simply just kicked out there. I told the ‘bouncer ‘I would like my credit card back, and he just said no. It wasn’t until I mentioned I was going to get a police officer and come back, and only then he went to get it. Ignorant and disrespectful staff. Highly recommend avoiding this place.

Racist and disrespectful staff. Got my night completely ruined. 2 staff members came up to us (and us only) while we quietly stood by the bar, SNATCHED our drinks out of our hands and told us we have to get out. After we politely asked the reason, they kept pulling us to the exit singling us out only. No last call was ever mentioned! My boyfriend still had his card on tab at the bar, this staff member REFUSED to let us get it, even after my bf showed his ID as proof. Completely rude and aggressive treatment, I was in tears trying just to find out the reason. Bulgarian staff member has the nerve to ask me (Eastern European girl), “How am I with him?” (Talking about my Latin boyfriend of 2 years). Absolutely ridiculous and disrespectful. We wanted a nice evening out on our last day, our mood was ruined by this place and this town. If you’d like to have a nice time, I suggest avoiding this place.

Last night was my first time at the Port, and it’ll be my last time. I understand from those I went with that this restaurant used to be upscale and had food that warranted the high prices. Apparently it’s changed. I ordered the halibut and it was so dry and over cooked it was more like chicken than fish. The beer I ordered was flat and had a soapy aftertaste, like they didn’t rinse out the glass before using it. They also charge a 4% “processing fee” that’s not on the menu and is far higher than the actual cost of processing credit cards (around 1%). The place seems to be cultivating more of a bar/bar food vibe, but is still charging fine dining prices.

Went there for oyster happy hour. Bartender promoted shrimp as well. Just ordered oysters. Then decided to order a dozen shrimp. We got the bill and they charged 6 dollars per “shaws” sized pre frozen shrimp. I questioned the Bartender and he agreed it was over priced. They should have said this wasn’t part of happy hour. Complete rip off. Oysters were the size of a penny. If the manager want to reach out to me then feel free.

Service was nice, our waitress was kind and welcoming. If there are no other restaurants available for quick seating then I understand going here but otherwise would recommend going elsewhere to get your moneys worth. The wagyu hamburger was $25 could get something better tasting elsewhere for that amount, the fries seemed like they were frozen from a bag you’d get at target. Tacos were alright pretty standard nothing that would warrant a $24 price tag. Would recommend their cocktails rather than bottled or canned drinks. A high noon was $10 lol

Dollar oysters are good. Drinks are okay. Atmosphere crowded and hectic. When it’s very crowded it’s standing room only. People can’t move and the staff cannot do their jobs effectively. I was there one night everyone was crowding the bar and the staff cannot get to the kitchen. They kept asking me and others to move but there was no where to move to, to get out of their way. The waitresses were clearly getting upset because no one was moving I eventually left due to claustrophobia. The space and design of the restaurant is not meant to be a standing room bar especially when it’s dinner time.

Stopped in for dinner seated promptly, service was decent. Food subpar, ordered a caesar salad with shrimp, 3 measly shrimp cost 14 dollars to add on, ridiculous. Ordered a plain hamburger for my child, charged 26 dollars. Additionally husband’s fish tacos were bland and mussels scampi lacked flavor. They also charge you this sketchy service fee of 4 percent not really sure what that’s all about. Generally overpriced for mediocre food.
