Good place – late late lunch but kitchen was still operating. Good bloody Mary. Roasted Brussel sprouts were delicious. Tuna was delicious. We were happy with our plates.

Originally sat down at the bar while waiting for a table. Due to it being a holiday weekend it was expected to be on the busier side. We got sat down and in the back which was the perfect atmosphere. Our server Meg was FANTASTIC and was diligently tending to all her customers. The appetizers, entrees and drinks left a notable impression that just makes you want one more bite (highly recommended the truffle fries.) this spot makes for the perfect date night or family gathering and I will definitely be coming back soon.

The food and service were very good, generous portions, reasonable prices. Lovely restaurant and beautiful location. The negatives were – they don’t seem to answer their phone. We tried for two days to call and ask about a reservation and couldn’t get through. The other negative probably isn’t their fault or are of responsibility, but needs to be noted. The restaurant is accessible, which is great, but there is no disabled parking anywhere near the restaurant, so you either need to go with someone who can drop you off and then park, or you need to be prepared to travel a few blocks to get there, which is a big ask if you have mobility issues

Celebrated a 50th birthday at The Point on Sunday and was pleasantly surprised! The place is beautiful, we had the outside covered patio in the back. The place is excellent….. plenty of help from the servers and the food was so fresh and just kept coming. Definitely will revisit and put on our places to eat. Below are some pictures of the delicious hors d’oeuvres ! Nice job Mo & Elisa …. You did Great… much luck !!!! Only problem is parking in Point Lookout !!! Steve C.

The place has been remodeled after Covid and has an entirely new menu. The old garlic chicken wings are gone, but there are lots of other interesting dishes. The Jaeger schnitzel is a treat as is the burger with au juice dipping sauce. They have an extensive bar with great cocktails like a cranberry mule. There is a lot of seating at the bar, at tables both inside and outside and a large patio in the rear. The restaurant is spotless, the staff is friendly and the food is great. What’s not to like? Highly recommended.

Having a great Sunday brunch at the newly re-opened The Point bar & grill. Missed it while it was gone. So happy it’s back and better than before. Staff was super nice and helpful and great portions at a good price.

Food was excellent, drinks were great and the service was great as well. I would highly recommend this place and I will be back. Short rib quesadilla was the best I’ve ever had. The burger was really good. Can’t forget to mention the brussels sprouts, which were amazing.

Everything about our lunch was comically bad. The food, the service, the drinks were all well below average. My wife got a mojito that was just lime juice and rum. We got baked clams which were so bad they were an insult to Long Island. How a restaurant on the beach on LI can make baked clams this bad is beyond me. I would call the dish clam paste as nothing was actually baked or crusty about it and the actual flavor was intensely mediocre, we didn’t finish them all. The dish was brought out with no plates or spoon and all the staff were nowhere to be found when we needed something, which was typical our entire meal. We got the crab cake sandwich special to share and it was more cake than crab and if you told me they used the same paste mixture as they did in the baked clams I would believe it. Again, the sandwich was an insult to anyone who likes or prepares seafood. The caked crab was so hard it was like eating a dry fried piece of bread and the flavor was not even remotely desirable. We didn’t finish this dish either. We saw our waitress intermittently through the mean, usually long after we needed something, like napkins. The inside was nice but all the dirty dishes are kept in the dining room so the staff just slam all the dirty dishes in the bins the entire time. All you hear inside is clanging and slamming of dirty dishes and silverware. We would not come back here.
