I’ve been ordering Strombolis from the Pizza Place/Scoreboard Pizza for about 20 years. That’s was my go-to order because they are great. Anyway, it’s been several months and wow it absolutely has no flavor. I remember the amazing crust! What happened?! I pulled apart the dough just to eat the toppings to drown in the marinara. I also specifically ordered garlic knots. I got dough bites again with no flavor. It tastes just like dough. All 25 bites were saturated it with oil and no hint of garlic or parsley. I saw evidence of a sprinkle of parsley on the food liner at the bottom.

The place is a joke, don’t get their food. Ordered through Grubhub which is listed along with Alice and seamless, we waited over an hour… only to find out they didn’t make the order and they won’t make the order. They don’t accept online orders from Grubhub, yet you’re still able to place an order. I called and the guy tells me they don’t own Grubhub. Awesome business model. Do yourself a favor and order Dematteo’s.

The menu itself is very old with wrong prices, extremely expensive, and that would’ve been fine if they had a good experience, but no. There was no napkins, no cheese or pepper packets. The size of the pizza levels out a bit to the price, as this is a small business, but I wish they had napkins and packets.

The pizza USED to be pretty good for the price. BUT… and here’s a BIG BUT… I cannot lie, most everything else is sub par. I ordered fettuccine alfredo and received spaghetti alfredo. When I asked the owner he says hey that’s what we got we don’t have fettuccine. The sauce was reheated and separated when we got the order! Not even when we got home, I’m talking right at the register when i looked in the bag to see the spaghetti in white sauce…. Another night i ordered a antipasto salad, it came missing mushrooms AND olives. I called and they said yeah we ain’t got that neither…And the last pizza I ordered had a different crust than normal. And different in a bad way. I can’t go here anymore. Price is good, but the food quality and terrible management do not make up for it. The cashier and the girl answering the phone were very pleasant though. That’s about it.
